THAT'S the difference right there. At least you're working on regaining your health. We live in the most unhealthy country in the world, what with fast food, remote controls and such. There's a difference in a 'big' woman wanting a man but not doing anything to improve herself therefore whining about wanting to be accepted as she is. Same goes for the guys, who in the hell wants a health liability, someone who will be racked with health problems soon? Then there are the people in your situation (sorry for the loss of your son, also.), who realize they need and WANT to work on improving their health. Don't worry about the idiots out there, there ARE good guys who don't mind a lil' extra meat, but as long as we continue to improve ourselves (yea I have a few I'm still working on losing haha!) then the odds of us finding a cool dude improve also. It's the ones who think they shouldn't have to improve themselves and have that "Take me as I am" attitude that make it hard for those of us that DO care about our health, therefore we're seen as girls who don't care about ourselves.
Girl I was HUGE in my first marriage, and you're right, once I was free of that albatross of a man, the ones who saw me when and then saw me afterwards were kicking themselves in the ass for how they saw me when I was heavy and depressed. Oh well, THEIR loss!!! HAHAHAHA!!!
