Topic: Do you give out your number to anyone?

Well, I think anyone can be taken off this site at any time so If someone asks for a phone number instantly, I think It's cool to give it out and get to know that person as time goes on. After some time, If you think you don't trust the person enough, you can go ahead to block that person.

Does the fact “anyone can be taken off this site at any time” not throw up a red flag for you and yet you’re still willing to give out your number?

I give a different number, to everyone I speak with in a day. A single number. If those people ever get together, and put those numbers together, in the correct order, I might get a call... Eventually.

I get tired when after a two or three messages somebody asks if I’m on WhatsApp or Hangouts or can they have my number. Or they send a message including their number asking me to call them! What’s the problem with just exchanging messages and getting to know somebody first

What’s the problem with just exchanging messages and getting to know somebody first They are not here to know YOU only your information. It's all about volume. They ask quickly and then most move on if you are not a sucker.

Same here I got alot of messages on a daily basis in my inbox asking me for my cellphone number without even getting to know me better.

They ask quickly and then most move on if you are not a sucker. Two days ago one guy asked me if I wanted to invest in Bitcoin lol

Yes but I think three sentences is a bit early, and clearly these people don’t read profiles they just look at the pictures I think it more happens on random. Sending out hundreds of the same mail, because there is always an eejit falling for it
