Every year my family celebrates Christmas on Christmas eve. We always serve Mexican food. On Christmas day each family has their separate celebration. I am going to my boyfriend's celebrations on Christmas day

What are your plans and traditions?

I work all day, so any plans are pretty much gone. I also have no family close anymore, so really just don't celebrate it.

My Christmas seems to come early because a lot of my efforts are mailed or done so people have the day free to be with family that is in the area. With Dad in heaven I am going to have a quiet restful Christmas this year using up the phone minutes talking to those long distance.

I have thought about planning a Christmas Mingle Bash for 2014 since a lot of folks would probably enjoy the milder weather we have here.

I'm gonna be working for most of them and I'm pretty sure I got a date for one of the nights I'm not.

we have a traditional family supper and gift opening Christmas Day the menu is not entirely decided but lasagne will be one item, with a big salad & bread just out of the oven.

Oh and I usually make baked beans or chili with ribs or ham, but I am in the mood for something different that the kids won't expect like a duck....or swedish meatballs :)
