Regarding the first post:

That's Bush's "brilliant" strategy. Keep the mess "status quo" until he's out of office, and leave it for the next President to deal with. Just like his failed businesses prior to entering politics. Of course, no matter which political party wins the Presidency, you can be guaranteed Ol' S*** Stain will criticize their handling of the situation. I love how S*** Stain fooled all the Republicans out ther into thinking he was one of them. Make no mistake, Bush & Co. despises Republicans every bit as much as they do Democrats. His handlers just figured Republicans are easier to manipulate than Democrats.

We can't pull our troops out. We will win this war. We have no choice but victory. If we leave now, all of our soldiers would have died for nothing and they would not like that. Besides, if we pulled out, it would seem as if we are admiting defeat, and other coutries would see that as a weakness. Then the next thing you know, other countries would be trying to fight us. This can never happen. We are the USA! We shall be victorious! (one way or another)

OK, Mitch, you seem so eager for us to be there.....

Just one question, if you don't mind:

Why haven't YOU enlisted?
Or, does your support for this ungodly war end at the point you're expected to put yourself in the line of fire?

"If we pulled out, it would seem as if we are admitting defeat"

NEWS FLASH, FOLKS:

THIS ISN"T A FREAKING FOOTBALL GAME! WHO CARES WHAT SOMEONE ELSE THINKS OF US?

By staying over there, getting soldiers killed needlessly, and financially breaking this country, other countries aren't exactly beaming with pride at us right now, are they?

*Good point about the financial means to this country. Believe me, if I could be there, I would. I would lay down my life and die for this country as long as I knew I didn't die for nothing.

My support for the WAR has Wavered a bit...BUT NEVER my Support for our guys when someone says WE it means AMERICANS Our Sons Daughters Mothers,Fathers Brothers and Sisters are over there to Complete a Mission until IT IS DONE. Basicly all I gotta say is this war is going to last as long as it needs to regardless we will be in Iraq FOREVER in one capacity or another get over it.

But Mitch, that's my point.

You say you strongly believe in this war. It's a war we must win, you say. Yet, in your most recent post, you say as long as you knew you didn't die for nothing. If you believe that the cause you're fighting for is just, death is not in vain. I'm not trying to analyze you here, but it seems to me that you do have some doubts about what's happening over there. I don't blame you. This thing has been mismanaged from day one. I especially feel bad for the troops and their families. And then to hear comments from that idiot Mitt Romney about why his five sons aren't over there.

Oh, by the way, when Romney was asked if he's so pro-war, why aren't any of his five sons over there, his response was:

"They're serving their country by helping a good man(Romney) get elected President."

Romney is a proud graduate of the G.W.Bush "Things'll get done as long as someone else does them" fraternity.
