Yaa... True love never requires intimacy...
. But sometimes (not in regular basis) its need to get intimacy (in a certain limits)... Intimacy is that part of love which keeps love life enriched or successful... Every partner needs some intimacy after a certain period of time... . Everyone had said well & supported that and I'm also with your positive views 'True love never demands or needs intimacy'... But atleast one times more think about it, that in life of true love a situation comes between the partners where the SITUATION demands intimacy... . I think that 1-2 times intimacy between partners / couples in a month and in a True Love is OKEY... But more than 2-3 times intimacy between partners / couples in a month is called LUST, they are hunger of intimacy... And LUST is not the part of True love, so thats not a True love... . I hope all of YoU got my point what I had said above... |

I read the posts in here and I do get what everyone is trying to say. But aren't we deviating from the original thought? I mean TRUE LOVE isn't something that happens outta the blue guys. It happens over time. The time you get to know someone better. You need to know the other person well to truly fall for her/him. Not necessarily that you need to get intimate with someone to do that. Intimacy goes a long way in telling you a lot of things about your partner/love interest.But one can still get to know a person without that. But the whole "Mujhe sachcha pyaar ho gaya hai" statement for someone you don't even know doesn't wash. I mean you can fall in love with someone as soon as you start hanging out with them but to TRULY fall in love takes a lifetime or so i guess.. :-p Been in a six year long relationship. I know she was my one true love. That's not gonna come back. So you steel your head and move on as best as you can.

Yes ofcourse its possible... motherly love fathery love and many more are there without intimacy.. But the love for someone whom ur dating getting along, getting engrossed in deep involvement of emotional desires, the urge to have sex is bound to happen. Without sex and intimacy there can be no love between guy and a girl dating

First of all tia its such a good topic to discuss and that to on this website, Where people prefer intimacy over love.
I think true love does exist without intimacy. But its not bad at all to have intimated relationship when Love is not jst for Lust. |
