Topic: Long Hair on Men Yae or Nay?

I had long hair for 25 years and loved it and miss it. I had to cut it for work plus I live in the high humidity and it drove me crazy but I am all for it.

any style will do.. as long as it's kept neat.. that said, I DO like a guy with long hair.. but not AS long as mine.. it's tickling me tooshie

Well, I'm a middle aged long hair and I've had it all my life. I never stopped to wonder if people liked it or not. I did have a job offer once that was contingent on me cutting my hair that I declined. I was subsequently hired for the position, hair and all. No one usually notices I have long hair when they first meet me, something about the way I tie it up makes me look like a short hair. Would my life have been drastically different had i cut my hair? Maybe. But the way I see it, in a hundred years, who will give a S*#t? @ZERO: mine tickles there too...

The responses thus far are fascinating. Much like jacktrades and regularfellar I've been follicly blessed for more than 20 years. Zero_Effected my mop hangs down to me arse too, guess that means we can't be friends? Cheer_up and BettyB Right On! willing2 see above referenced posters comments. @ZERO: mine tickles there too... really?? wow.. my grandmothers hair tickled her ankles.. I never understood why she complained of getting 'whiplash' all the time when she sat down.. now however.. I TOTALLY get it.. and one of the reasons why I'm considering cutting it all off.. plus it's freakin heavy..

And whether i agree with you cutting your long luxurious locks or not, I support your right and decision to do so. I'm sure it won't change you as a person. But........I will take long hair over a burr any day.... I have dated guys with hair to the middle of their back and with only like 1/2 on top.... I think guys look great with long hair from shoulder length on...and if they have a mustache and I'm pretty much hooked...
