We're talking a liberal California Demoncrap here.... laws don't apply to them. They can't read the laws, much less comprehend them, so they simply ignore them and parrot their masters desires in speeches, votes, and talking points. Just ask Nazi Piglozi, Dyin Frankenstein, or any other liberal Demoncrap in the 57 states, governed under our 400 year old Constitution. ![]() |

nothing out of the ordinary here, standard California liberal doctrate, deprive and enslave. A free people would resist enslavement so they must be deprived of their ability of defense.
What better way to do that than to pass laws that deprive the victims of means of defense and then passing on their means to those that can instill the fear needed to totally enslave. |

Sen. Leland Yee Proposes Regulating Guns From 3-D Printers Local Sen. Leland Yee Proposes Regulating Guns From 3-D Printers May 8, 2013 10:48 PM View Comments Related Tags: 3-D gun, 3-D printers, Leland Yee SACRAMENTO (CBS13) A state senator is concerned about the possibility of someone creating a gun from a 3-D printer. Sen. Leland Yee (D-San Francisco) is looking at how to regulate working guns made by 3-D printers. The printers can create objects from a blueprint by layering material in slices, typically around a tenth of a millimeter in thickness. The printers start at around $1,000 and typically fall around $2,000. Video showing a plastic gun being test-fired appeared online last weekend, prompting Yee's fears. He's concerned that just about anyone with access to those cutting-edge printers can arm themselves. Terrorists can make these guns and do some horrible things to an individual and then walk away scott-free, and that is something that is really dangerous, said Yee. He said while this new technology is impressive, it must be regulated when it comes to making guns. He says background checks, requiring serial numbers and even registering them could be part of new legislation that he says will protect the public. Yee added, This particular gun has no trace whatsoever. Manuel Hernandez, of M & J Gun Trade in Sacramento, said any legislation putting limits on making 3-D printed guns only hurts law-abiding citizens. It's just another way to try and block gun owners,Hernandez said. http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2013/05/08/sen-leland-yee-proposes-regulations-on-3-d-printers-after-gun-test/ Like taking Spaghetti and glue them on top of each other with Crazy-Glue! No one with even half a Braincell would be caught dead firing a thing like that! ![]() |

Give me Metal, not Plastic glued together! ![]() I looked at it at some length last year, and I would rather invest my money in a Lathe and a Milling Machine, plus the tooling that goes along! Two things come to mind here, first that it is very obvious the YouTube video wasn't view because second, the rebuttal arguments were not the same thing. The first article is about an AR15 receiver being printed and the second addresses a "ready to fire rifle like on the market today". So I see that prejudicial thinking has gotten in the way of rational thinking again. |

You just have a need to be right, hmm? ![]() Does strange things to the Human Mind! Lots of that going around lately on here too! Not really, I viewed all sources and seems your conclusion was not based on logic, plastic gun worked fine. But your rebuttal was more like a liberal argument, shift the subject and run a spin. As I have said in another thread, I enjoy the arguments you present on most subjects but you do have a tendency to sometimes view things from a very prejudice angle and this would be one of them. Logic dictates that using 22 short or even 22 longs, a gun can be made from a click pen. May sting a little when fired but puts holes in things just the same. And oh yes, using a 3D printer and modern thermoplastics, it is possible to make an AR15 receiver but then I would agree with you in respect that a receiver is not a gun, heck even the ATF agrees with that if you forget to bore a couple of holes. And yes I do have this inclination to not be wrong so I look up that which is in doubt before posting. Of course that normally means finding both pros and cons, a balance. Many times it even changes the whole demeanor of my response. |
