Hey 2kids how are you this morning? I'm alright...I'm so glad my work week is almost done.;) Can't sleep in...tomorrow.... but that's OK...still be nice not Coming to work. Weather is gorgeous here today So makes working outside today..Good

.. a little update on the farmers pit... nearly a hole dumptruck full.. of ancient artifacts.. well okay most of it garbage...
 .. but a few old 7 up pop bottles. the really small ones.. some old license plates... a lot of old cooking tins.. a huge. hand reverted boiler.ie. hot water tank.. it looked like a work of art.. must have been a ton of rusty iron... and hundreds of these little glass marbles.... it was an interesting time capsule to this farming families past....hmm.. I kept one of the seven up bottles.. the label. still on it... that's it.. ironic we dug up garbage to haul it to the garbage...lol.. back to work people... . |

.. since I'm on the topic of ironic things sitting here in my truck.. looking down at this very small bottle of Pop.. it strikes me funny.. how times have changed.. 50 years ago.. A sugar sweet bottle of Pop.. was considered a treat.. they gave you just enough.. to allow you to appreciate it.. and a can of soup. that nourished. your body. and give you energy for your day. could feed a family of 4.. fast forward 50 years.. that sugary sweet. not very good for you bottle of Pop..is overwhelmingly large... and that can of soup... now is so small it can only feed 1.hmm.. how times have changed.... what is corporate America trying to say.. hmm...
. sorry for getting so heavy here..lol.. . just a thought though... and yes or moe.. I understand the reasoning behind the size of that can of soup... smaller families and all that.. at least that's what they want you to believe right....$$$$$$$. in Big Daddy's pocket.... . |
