Could be worse. Somebody might follow Rand Paul, thinking he's relevant or electable.

He's definitely not his father, but at least we would get something with the appearance of peoples rights under his leadership. I just don't think he's ready for the world stage any more than the idiot Obozo is.

But Clinton? There's more than one way to destroy the world, and the Ice Queen I'm sure has probably considered them all as an option!

After proving her uselessness and true ineptitude with Benghazi, I wouldn't trust her if she were placed in the darkest hole on earth! We're supposed to believe OBL was dangerous while being sick and living in a cave.... Clinton scares me much worse!

No, I've seen the complaints about Benghazi, and it basically boils down to Republicans and Teabaggers being upset (or pleased) that it happened under a Democratic administration. Then, when asked what they would've done differently, or what could've been done differently, given overall conditions, those same Republi-baggers are shown to be about as stupid as can be. Fly the only military aircraft available overhead, for example, over a place that is suspected to have unsecured surface-to-air manpack missiles. Others point to doctrinal changes overriding the decisions of the ambassador on the ground--guessing that they would've seen the danger ahead, drawing manpower away from other installations around the world for this. Robert Gates was right to say that Republicans had a cartoonish view of the situation. So, claiming that Hillary Clinton mishandled the situation just makes you look stupid.

With proper accounting, your fictional "business owner" making that $million wouldn't have to worry about taxes, because those same taxes would level the playing field, as opposed to current tax law, where multinational corporations get bigger tax breaks and even state subsidies in spite of record profits for doing the work they were going to do, anyway.

Ellen DeGenerous, on the other hand, definitely has accountants and has incorporated in order to get all the tax breaks she can. Ellen isn't pleading for lower taxes, in spite of her access to a bully pulpit. She reliably pays every cent she's required to pay. Only, she gets to write off so much of her expenses that her actual pay--let's assume it really is only $50 million--that her effective tax rate is still way less than 10%. Making $50 million, she's also contributing about 50 times more money to the federal revenue than Mr. Fictional, too.

Maybe you want to make a big deal about the $50 million your "business owner" contributes, and pretend that DeGenerous makes no such contribution, but a TV production company employs hundreds, directly, and thousands more, indirectly, and is one of the leading contributors to a $multi-billion industry.

Maybe you can find a more accurate infographic.

This reply does nothing to make me appear the "stupid" one here. laugh

It works best if you throw the firecracker rather than let it go off in your hand!

I have no love for the old guard Repulsicon party, its treachery, deceit, or warfare agenda either, but at least "The Shrub", as stupid as he was, didn't lie or point fingers to cover his stupid or idiotic blunders, and if anyone "crossed a red line" they'd better have their life insurance paid up! They sure weren't laughing about it!

This admin has made us the laughing stock of the world with it's pu$$y, lying, inexperienced and inept, POS POTUS, along with the race card playing excuses, lies, and finger pointing to cover the ineptitude by its players calling themselves statesmen or some other political title within the party..... suffice to say that if it wasn't so harmful to our nation and its people, we would be joining in the laugh ourselves.

The lies and corruption in the Demoncrap camp is so blatantly obvious it's not even questioned any more, but any who oppose it are targeted by the agencies run by its party appointees. The Repulsicons can't throw stones being no better themselves, but at least the people prosper under their rule. Even if the people live within a cage of deceit and control, they (Repulsicons) like building a bigger pie to divvy up amongst themselves. So while they are crooks, thieves and liars, at least the people are much better able to enjoy some freedom and prosperity for themselves.

Neither is a good choice! Oligarchs, controlled by the banks and wall street. Welfare or warfare.... I choose something different

So, as Con says..... enjoy your omelet, your kool aid, and your foolish laugh..... as you march in your fools parade behind this presidential clown car!

Boy, that Kool Aid is really good, made with that fluoridated tap water, isn't it? But you haven't a clue about reality. So four dead and it's about "Teabaggers" being upset because it was or wasn't them.

But Clinton did withdraw security, and on purpose. The Embassy was sacrificed for a purpose and it had nothing to do with budgets, that is just the story they feed to the idiots. And they just eat it up, hook line and sinker, then wash it down with the kool aid.

And no Hillary didn't mishandle anything. But Odumbo did miscalculate the consequences of their planned action and cover up lies.

And as to stupid, you really do need to examine your premises, one is in error.

Do you really have any clue about the statements you are making? The actual statements are direct contradictions of themselves.

What ever happened to Vince Foster? Was that "fostergate"? Read that he died right after a meeting with Hillary.
And whatever happened to the "Chinagate" scandal?

I'm sure that Hillary will explain it all on day.huh
