Speaking of Oliver Reed, are you aware that he did a homoerotic scene where he and this other guy stripped naked and wrestled next to a fireplace? HAHAHAH! What was all that about?

He seems pretty wacko to me. I mean some of his songs... "This Is The END" etc are very morbid. And I'm sure there's some satanism going on there as well. For a good read on Jim Morrison find the "No one here gets out alive" by Jerry Hopkins and Danny Sugarman. The was very intersting and it tells where some of the ideas for the songs came from.

No he wasn't insane. It's the so called "normal" that's insane.

A true madman,great but destined to go too soon.I don't think he was meant to live long.But,the doors are timeless.The music will last forever.I saw the surviving members in concert in New Jersey a few years back.The crowd stood throughout.Lots of ovations,really,really great!

i forget what the interview was but they were talking about how people would offer you drugs and you would put it away for later etc....Jim always took it on the spot no matter how wrecked he already was...he wasn't insane it was a totally different time and he was on a whole other level, he was the lizard king after all... if you think his music is weird read his poetry

Well,I have to say that I am totally bemused by all the comment's, after all-we are only talking about a Boozy Drug induced Rock & Roller
