.. gauging by the height of the Sun.
. it is approximately 4:53 p.m... .. I am wiping the dust off my spaceships window... I am now looking outside the window... .hmm... I have no idea where I have crash landed.. I must mount a expedition.. to gather more info.. . I will submit a follow up report.. .ASAP...ok

what time would someone in space say it is? as time is the position of the sun from on earth. like if you see it it's daytime and if not it's night time. then the time between an equal distance from two planets... hmm. in space no one turns up for meeting.

I have. managed to secure the wreckage.. and salvage what I could. .. I have climbed up the largest outcropping of rocks.. the oxygen is thin but breathable..hmm... the Sun is going down to the east of me.. my last time index was 4:53.pm... .. I have fashion a crude sundial.. . by my calculations it is..8:49.pm.. . darkness is falling upon. this planet I have crashed landed on... .. I must find shelter for the night. . I will report in again in the morning.. .   .. I still have no name.. for this planet..hmm.. . |

journal entry #3. I have been awake for over an hour now.. based on my last time entry. at 8:49.. and using my primitive sundial.. that puts the time at..7:56 am.. on Friday.. I will have to start -/-/-/-/.. keeping track of the days.. so as not to lose that part of humanity within me... the weather on this planet seems to be extreme... scorching hot one day.. torrential rains the next...hmm.. speaking of rain I need to secure a water source..
