At one point I had to leave home and seek shelter out of county at an undisclosed location that nobody knew existed. Or so I thought.

After a couple weeks passed I was beginning to feel safer as I made preparations to obtain my own residence while asking the court in this new county for a restraining order so I could return to my original county.

You may be asking yourselves why I couldn't ask the court in my own county for protection?

Because the original county is where my ex is from. And it didn't matter what he did or to whom, the powers that be always protected him and sided against me, even when there were outward signs of physical abuse.

I've never seen anything like this. Where the female victim is further victimized by the community for being the outsider, and for NO other reason!

By the community protecting my ex despite his serious errors in judgment, the community was encouraging his bad behavior.

But this is the type of homegrown animosity (bigotry) that still exists toward outsiders. The natives would rather do nothing while cheering on one of their own, than to lift a finger to help someone they see as a turf invader.

Well, one day I'm walking away from the register after making my purchase at the local Walmart in the new county when there stands my ex, smiling at me.

His friends had called him and said they'd seen me in this new county at the Walmart, so he stalked me there. It didn't matter how far away I went, my ex always found me and brought me back to his county.

Stalking is very much a dangerous game. And I was lucky my ex only stalked me to bring me back home, and not to abuse me further or murder me, because he could have just as easily done that too.

What the hell is this meant to be saying.
This is a dating site.
Are you in some way concerned that you are being stalked?
If you are, i suggest that this is a paradox, since you are online on a dating site.

Obviously, somebody is a little late getting to the party... drinker

All manner of stalkers and stalkerism is permitted anywhere and everywhere in life and online, so long as we control our demonic pitchfork urges to attack other stalkers who are not to our liking. waving

If you find that you must strike out...

... please be gentle as a tickling feather... rather than inflicting the sting noway of a whip made of leather... frown

at least in my red room... laugh

There's a big difference between patrons on social networking sites following videos and threads to post comments, and true stalkers off line and online that have impure motives for doing so. IMO.

I want to clarify the way I made light of stalking in this post, because it is a serious matter to me personally.

Some forms of stalkerism is legit... like when a fan has an idol they follow to every event just to enjoy spending time with them listening to the music they play/sing...

Or fans watch all the shows their idols star in...

Obsessed fans can even collect everything ever created about their idol and form fan clubs. This kind of stalkerism is socially acceptable.

Even on dating sites people who post may have fans or followers that read everything their idols post, and may even post alongside them. This is cool too.

My concern about the bad aspects of offline and online stalkerism is when it can turn mean, nasty, even dangerous.

And its the evil spirited kinds of stalkers that I will personally protest because of my previously bad experiences that have taught me valuable lessons about who to trust, and how far.

I hope this furthering explanation helps to clean some of the egg off my face for posting a remark that could be easily misinterpreted. slaphead
