Glenn Beck on Tuesday announced that he will be bringing tractor-trailers full of food, water, teddy bears and soccer balls to McAllen, Texas on July 19 as a way to help care for some of the roughly 60,000 underage refugees who have crossed into America illegally in 2014.

Beck said he will be joined by Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah), Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), and a number of pastors and rabbis.

“Through no fault of their own, they are caught in political crossfire,” Beck said of the children. “And while we continue to put pressure on Washington and change its course of lawlessness, we must also help. It is not either, or. It is both. We have to be active in the political game, and we must open our hearts.”

Beck said that “everybody” told him not to talk about other controversial issues, like the caliphate, in the past, and that he is hearing the same thing about his stance that we must care for the children who have crossed into America illegally.

“Everybody is telling me I’m seeing subscriptions down; I’m seeing Mercury One donations down,” Beck said, growing emotional. “I’m getting violent emails from people who say I’ve ‘betrayed the Republic.’ Whatever. I’ve never taken a position more deadly to my career than this — and I have never, ever taken a position that is more right than this.”

“We’re going to fill some tractor-trailers with food, with water,” Beck said. “The churches have asked us if we could bring teddy bears and soccer balls, so we’ve loaded up a whole tractor-trailer of nothing but teddy bears and soccer balls. And then I’m going to go serve breakfast and lunch, and I’m going to help unload these trucks, hot meals for 3,000. That’s what we’re doing.”

“We sure could use your help,” Beck continued. “I would like to ask you to donate to MercuryOne.org. If you don’t want to be involved in this, you don’t have to be. You can donate and earmark your money to be for preserving American history; we have a museum to build. … You could do it to help education. … We’re building hospitals. … But all the things that we do, they’re not about politics, because politics is turning us ugly. Politics is the vehicle that is driving us to the fundamental transformation of America.”

“When America stops being good, we are no longer able to be great,” Beck concluded.

This is a man the Looney Left has painted as a racist, hatemonger, hate Hispanics etc. They will be eating a lot of crow after this.

He is doing more then Obama who is forcing these children to be stuck in limbo what has been described by people who have worked in them as modern day concentration camps ran by the "Brown Shirts", instead of deporting them like he should. He should also stop telling the world it's ok to send your children here illegally d causing one of the worst humanitarian crises in history.

There's never been a bad thing about him. You just don't like him because he hates your Fuhrer and doesn't hide that fact.

I never called him 'bad' either. I dont worship any man, however, enough to believe they have no flaws. I consider him very flawed and somewhat bigoted in his past words. I have no personal feeling of like or dislike for the man, as I dont know him. But I did dislike the bigoted things he would say. Though he is one of the mildest examples compared to the OReillys and Limbaughs of the media world.

I am not certain that I believe the "no fault of their own" bit when we are talking about a large percentage being 17-24 yrs old

otherwise I think it's a nice gesture so they will have souveniers to take home with them, and be comfortable while waiting for their hearings.

someone on another Forum was wondering about this!

:snip:
What I find really perplexing in this is that they all come from an "impoverished' country/ countries, but no one ever asks is where do these families/ mothers, get so much money to pay these 'coyotes' in the first place…what does a single mother living in some hovel or tiny room get 20 0r 30 or even 40, let alone 50 thousand dollars as we all have heard by these reporters from all the major networks, have to do to get that much??!! How long does she or the family have to 'work' to get this much?? How is it that the 'gangs' that run most of the small towns not know that they are hoarding all this cash, and not rob them???
Something is not right here with this bizarre scenario. When I was a free-lance journalist, we all had one rule to always 'follow the money' and see who benefits from the story from any angle. I have yet to hear one news report explaining the origin of so much money by all these so called impoverished mothers / families to pay for their child's escape to the US...

If they are over 18 they should process them and send them home even quicker. They need to process the children and send them home as well and not keep them in concentration camps.

I don't have a problem with Glenn Beck, except that he is the mouthpiece for a cadre of ultra-orthodox Mormons. So you always take the good with the bad.

Ultra Orthodox anything, by definition, is not a religion but a cult; seriously did you read the 5000 year leap- pseudo history and crackpot ideas.

The only place Keynesianism didn't work was in Japan in the 190s, mainly due to the fact that most of the money was stolen via corruption. Otherwise, it works

Coyotes don't work free.

What's going on now could be a cooperative operation between South America, Mexico and our own Government.

They all want international free trade. What's the easiest way to do that? Saturate the country with Illegals.

Why isn't Canada having an Illegal problem? Because, they turn them back at their borders and deport. They got fooled for a short time in Windsor and allowed about 600 in who claimed to be refugees. They figured out really quick, they couldn't afford to maintain them.
