How many heads do you have on your wall( Friends ) that you have requested, they accepted but don't or have never communicated with you? I've got some that have been hanging around for years. You message they never respond, but they are still there looking at you? So do you delete them or just leave them for decorating a memory that never happened? Or just to remember their Vanity?

Life is what happens while you are making plans... People who are slow to respond or who do not, are readily replaced as its silly to take this seriously if you have not even met... Personally i find that people who cannot respond immediately, are busy, already, involved, serial daters, participators in social masturbation or other poor communication are not genuine. as genuine folks get in touch immediately, as they recognize the folly of extended conversation only to meet and share no chemistry...

My wall is basically empty except for people I am in touch with.

3 good answers, but when i send a friends request i give a ( reason why) i'm request them! For their introductions, responses on forums etc. i believe this is right of me to do as not to insinuate (ulterior motives) and if i'm interested in making a connection for dating that's there also!! Are these people that don't respond hanging on your wall just out to show their popularity to others on here as potential partners? I know i have some good friends on here that message me often, and i have received invitations from some for mingle gathering in different States( those are Friends)!! Just wondering what you do?

As far as friends on my list here... I have talked to each and everyone of them.. Many are no longer here but still remain a member and have in the past dropped in from time to time...

If I don't talk to them within the forums or e-mail I do not add them...

And all of mine are strictly friends..

If your talking about mutual match I only keep one on there to be able to see the added feature....

I hear you most of those on my list they have asked... But there are many on here I would consider a friend....Friends are not always on a list....

That is my way of beginning a discussion with a potential match on here. If they can't except my friends first, then the rest is immaterial B.S. to me. My Friends know why i requested them as i attach a note to my request each time!! Its the potential match or dating part that's a little troublesome! My problem is being solved now i'm deleting those nonresponders off and Keeping all my True Friends that interact on here looking( not haunting me)! Thank You all for the Advice!!

This site is filed with so many scammers and folks who act real but you have no idea whom is who.....I met the guy I'm with in the most unlikely site ...so I say it is possible but it's an exception of the rule....jmo

I don't publicly display my friends, and like TxsGal said there are people on here I admire and would consider my friends, however, I don't feel though that I have to be added as a friend to BE a friend neither does someone else have to add me for me to behave as their friend. I am truly honoured to have been asked by those that consider me a friend without having ever met me - and when I want to talk to them I private message them.

I do not accept those that I have not spoken to on the forums, nor inappropriate 'cold' requests, neither do I have to befriend a friend of a friend, nor people I genuinely do not care for

I have my filter up but you realize I live in Dallas....the most single men in the states are here in Texas or California....so yes I get emails that have came off sincere and they weren't who they represented and actually as two posters who definitely misrepresented themselves to me when they initiated the convo....so far the track record in my end seems to follow my first couple of posts....
