Topic: Harry Reid Says Border is Secure | |
---|---|
Texas lawmakers Senator John Cornyn (R) and Representative Henry Cuellar (D) introduced a bipartisan solution to the immigration problem …only to have Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid say he would not support the bill because “the border is secure.”
[Cornyn and Cuellar's legislation would] speed up the deportations of tens of thousands of Central American children who have entered the country illegally across the southern border. Sen. John Cornyn (R) and Rep. Henry Cuellar (D) say their bill aims to amend a 2008 law that currently requires the federal government to provide greater legal protections to young immigrants who attempt to enter the United States from noncontiguous countries. It’s fairly clear that if the border was “secure” as Harry Reid insists, you wouldn’t be reading this. His assertion plainly flies in the face of what the DHS said last week: Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson warned Congress last week that Immigration and Customs Enforcement is due to run out of money by mid-August because of the large number of minors attempting to cross into Texas. He said Customs and Border Protection would run out of funding by mid-September. He estimated that as many as 90,000 illegal minors would be apprehended by the end of September. The only logical explanation is that Harry Reid either doesn’t understand the definition of ‘secure,’ or he understands it just fine and is misleading America. But he would never do that… http://www.ijreview.com/2014/07/157363-harry-reid-provides-us-funniest-line-week-saying-border-secure/ ![]() |

THIS HAS TO STOP--WE CAN'T TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN PEOPLE!!!!!! THE AMERICAN COMMUNIST PARTY (THE LIBERALS) ALWAYS DO THINGS TO HURT AMERICA--THE DICK IN WASHINGTON HAS KILLED THE MIDDLE CLASS IN AMERICA---

What does that say for the idiots pulling the strings on this puppet? |
from what I have been reading I'd say that if Washington will not secure the border, there are people who plan on doing it for him. My hope is that he (the prez) will not let it come to that.
this is not a good time to be sending children here to our southern border. the parents of these kids must be nuts or the worst kind of scum. |

In Texas, Perry should deputize State Militias to turn back crossers and escort them back across the border near where they entered.
Obozo don't care about our southern border...... he's moving to his new multi-million dollar home on the beach in Hawaii after his term is up |
so,Lyin' Harry claims the Border is secure, hmm?
Perry and all border state Governors are complicit.
The states should sanction their own volunteers. Deputize them, arm them and have strict orders not to fire on unarmed Illegals. Don't process them. Armed escorted back to where they crossed. |

something's decidedly fishy!
http://www.redflagnews.com/headlines/act-of-war-on-america-mexico-and-guatemala-sign-agreement-to-fast-track-invasion-of-us (by Rick Wells, GOP The Daily Dose) -- A Monday joint press conference was held by Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina to announce their agreement to jointly cooperate in and facilitate the invasion of their northern neighbor, the United States. Labeled The Southern Border Program to Improve Passage,it is an officially-sanctioned, coordinated effort on the part of Mexico and the nations of Central America to invade the United States. The agreement provides a network of border checkpoints through which an internal Mexican travel document will be issued, which is valid for a period of 72 hours. That document, known as a Regional Visitor's Card, will provide temporary legal status to those in Mexico illegally for the sole purpose of invading the United States. The announcement, officially granting the privileges to illegals from Guatemala and Belize, is expected to be applied to anyone who reaches the southern Mexican border with the intention of invading America. Additionally, this action even provides special protections as well as financial assistance to unaccompanied minors. This will only provide further incentive for the illegal occupation and serve to dispel any misguided belief on the part of foreign nationals in Central America that claims made by the United States that they will be deported back home are anything other than falsehoods intended to pacify the gullible American public.
