I find personality types interesting!
I love the Myers-Briggs test that is used a lot in the corporate world. It is also used to match people for dating. Do any of you know your type??? Mine is INFP. (expecting very few responses, but hopeful!) |

I could tell you why this test, among many others, are meaningless... not only was it based in 1940's by a guy who is disregarded by the whole psychology community but it also was used by the Briggs (mother and daughter) with no formal training nor degrees in psychology.
It is entertaining... but no real-world value to it. Like many testings... ENTJ |

So WHAT if they didn't have formal degrees in psychology??? The pioneers of any field were explorers who DARED to challenge the old ideas. Jesus even challenged the Pharisees, for example. INFP PERFECTLY describes me, and nothing else ever has. I like it. So, that's that. |

lol Any test should be called into question. That is what makes us human beings. And who created the tests, why, when, what credentials they had... all comes to question.
Like the book "Men are from Mars women are from Venus" created by a guy with no doctorate degree from a noted, credited, academic institution. That's why you do not hear anything from him. It was a con. |

I took a personality test once it said I was an analyst, adapter

As if we need more classifications to shove people out and move select people in. |
