There are also crossings by adults of many other nations. "Three terrorist watch list individuals were caught in California crossing our open border. Realistically, I trust Perry as far as I can throw oBozo.
Remember when Juarez and El Paso was erupting? All the allegedly assassinated Mexican cops, violence, etc? Perry allegedly, sent National Guard troops to El Paso. They musta' gotten lost cuz, never heard another word or updates on the situation or the impact of the military on the border. |

They musta' gotten lost cuz, never heard another word or updates on the situation or the impact of the military on the border. maybe they ended up in Rosa's Cantina,gone on a visit to Feleena?

Unfortunately he is not giving them arrest powers(which under Texas law the Governor can do), which is depressing. |

I cannot imagine that 1000 uniformed warm bodies cannot reduce the crossings and slow the trafficking. They are there to help the DPS officers who do have arrest powers.

They need put down on the river where the most common crossings happen and turn them back to Mexico.
Don't arrest, don't deter/refer, sent back. Once they get into oBozos system, they are given a court date and released. Would I show up for court knowing I'd get sent back??? DUH!?!?!? NO!!

Shooting?
And that has been done just recently. The cartels have long range .50 cal. rifles they are shooting at our patrol officers.
In other places they have charged uncompleted border walls in masses to try to break through. I think they should have the guard there and let them use rubber bullets and audio devices to turn these trespassers away from the border. The coyotes are also using jet skis to cross wide areas of the river so we need some more water assets to shut that down as well. This ain't the sound of music here folks! The 50 cal Barrett's from F&F.
