Topic: WHAT IS D MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE GIVEN U BY UR PARENTS?

Before i left for university,my mother said to me "always remember where you are coming from" sounded ordinary at first until it started influencing my decisions.Till this very day,based on those words,i still think about my family especially before making my long term decisions.Its almost as though she programmed my mind.My dad use parables a lot and one of the was "you can blame your parents for who you are but you cant blame them for who you become" His own words rings like bell in my head,telling me i'm to take responsibility for my own life.They dont know how much their words impacted me though i'm (secretly)grateful.Have you been given any good advice by your parent,grandparent,relative or anyone that matter to you?.Did you as parent gave you children important word of advice? Kindly share with us

this advice was not by my parents but by a good friend. nobody will ever love you like your kids will so don't live your life waiting for your one true love because you have 3 one true loves.

Great advice! especially in a society with high rate of divorce.If not divorce factor,ones spouse should be the only true love

Be honest, trustworthy, kind, loving and respectful and never return evil for evil to anyone, even those who may hate you. My dad and mom did not say these words but showed me by example.
