its called a metaphor,,, A trope or figure of speech in which an implied comparison is made between two unlike things that actually have something in common as in how some call themselves 'christians',, because of trying to be LIKE Christ its not because any of us come CLOSE to 'being' Christ, but we certainly can in some ways be similar,,, but, perhaps that's not your thing,,,
