Sarah Palin

Don't you know who I am?! It's a powerful question that has blown up in many a celebrity's face. Sarah Palin and her family were reportedly involved in a "booze-filled brawl" in Alaska last weekend when the Mama Grizzly allegedly screamed, "Don’t you know who I am?" amid the chaos. No word on whether anybody responded, "Tina Fey?"
Though the former Alaskan governor is the latest to have dropped the cocky phrase, she's hardly the first.

lol,,

I didn't care for her as a political candidate,, but I think its probably more common than not once people reach a certain 'status' to think everyone should know who they are

even when we 'common folk' talk about people, we often assume everyone knows who they are,,,

I don't think I've ever heard of a story ending well when it contains the phrase "Don't you know who I am?!?"

Chances are good that if they did - and "who (you are)" carried the weight one believes it should

it would be an unnecessary statement to utter, to begin with.

The initial tussle occurred, the source said, after the young man in question “tried to get in” to the Hummer limousine after he’d engaged in some unspecified “questionable behavior.”

Track Palin soon found himself struggling to fend off four men who had “piled on him,” according to the source.

Todd Palin then inserted himself into the brawl, which left the former “First Dude” of Alaska bleeding.

Next, it was Sarah Palin’s turn to leave her own mark on the most talked about rumble in Anchorage since the 1964 earthquake.

On the previous night, she had been in Houston to speak at a fundraiser benefiting the Mighty Oaks Warrior Foundation, which helps wounded veterans. That event apparently was fresh on Palin’s mind when she engaged in the tumult on Saturday night.

According to the source, as her husband and son were trading blows with their adversaries, Palin was yelling (in reference to her son), “Don’t you know who he is? He’s a vet!”

This rendition of her words differs slightly but significantly from a previous report, which had Palin shouting, “Don’t you know who I am?”

Over the years, Sarah Palin has spoken frequently about her son’s U.S. Army service in the Iraq War, and Track currently serves as a counselor, working with veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Guess it all depends on who you get your story from.

Probably depends on which "eyewitness" one chooses to believe...based on who's got a dog in the fight, *I s'pose*...

"...Partygoer Eric Thompson told Good Morning America, 'I heard Sarah Palin scream out, "You know who we are, don’t you?"'..."

OR

"...But the source told the website Palin was shouting: 'Don't you know who he is? He's a vet!'..."

Regardless of any other factor, it's safe to say we are ALL now in agreement that we aging women can - and should - wear make-up whenever we step out in public.

A neighbourhood thug said that to me once so I said it right back. He looked a little confused and stepped away. I never had a problem with him after that! what

Oh. So you didn't go to the site I'd cited and look at the picture.

THAT, kind sir, is the farthest from a "girl scout" one can get.

Liberal sources will do the liberal slant.

When I was a kid, I got kicked out of the Girl Scouts. They caught me eating the brownies.

have to admire you for the labor intensive writing, links and all... can't always look at the links. sometimes can only check in 10 minutes or so...do enjoy the banter.

bigger fish to fry and sink our teeth into though, in the world of current events. enjoyed palin at(cpac) with the big gulp gag/stunt... was live link from what is affectionately known as wingnutdaily.

mmm... 3.2 beer, fried catfish, boiled crawdads and brownies

?!?

It's cute that what others consider "labor intensive"

is what I call "off the top of my head".

Thank you for your kind words, but I assure you...being able to write well and clearly articulate my thoughts is hardly a chore for me.
