There is no longer any reason for the Democrats to vote against it, Obama to veto it, or even for the defunding requirement to be in the bill. The Senate should just pass it and Obama should just sign it. Rewriting the bill no longer serves any purpose. |

DHS is another unnecessary bureaucracy anyway. Did we not have any national security prior to George W. Bush giving us this new agency? This department came out of 9/11, which didn't happen because we were lacking a bureaucratic nightmare. Shut it down completely, along with several other federal agencies.
