You're comparing apples and chimpanzees. Added weight can be lost. Changing gender isn't that easy and goes to the core of who that person is. If I'm with a woman, I expect that she will remain a woman. If that woman adds a little weight, she is still a woman. If she adds a penis, she is no longer a woman. The comparison is invalid because these are completely different issues.
