The Russians, the Japanese/Chinese and the Persians laugh at us because we let women walk all over us. Men today come home from a hard day's work and then have to do house work! Unbelievable, our ancestors would be spinning in their graves if they knew about this. Men shouldn't have to do the washing up, shopping, ironing, etc, that's a woman's job. If they want to go out and work then so be it, but they must not give up their other responsibilities.

this mentality is one of the reasons why you will never attract a woman.. but in your case.. only one of the many reasons.

Men like equality when it means they only pay half the bills. Then they complain when they are expected to do half the housework. Let's not forget about childcare.

no.. not at all... you are to far gone. So just continue wondering why women don't like you and keep crying like a baby because no one will play with you.

And, of course.. keep those mirrors nice and clean

You know you can say what you want but men and women have always done 'domestic' work. When people lived in trees men and women searched for wild edibles together. When people came down from the trees we figured out that women are not built physically or physiologically like men and men formed hunting parties. When the men came home with meat they ate most of it because they needed to replenish the energy lost in the hunt. When we learned to raise plants farms were maintained by women while men were out hunting. Women learned ways to make food last in order to pair with stronger (and smarter) men to mate with. Arguments are made that we lived like animals then, but the opposite seems to be more true now if yoh think about it. Men cook about as much as women do so the woman's 'role' is shared. Women work as much as men do if not more recently because it is cheaper (no offense, just facts) to hire and keep a woman employed than it would a man. I was taught to clean up after myself and help keep the house presentable. I learned to cook because I enjoy eating food that tastes good. Our 'roles' don't fit us anymore and it seems that splitting the entire workload instead of vaulting us past our stubborn predecessors has slung us back into virtual caves. Nobody knows what anybody is supposed to do so instead of trading roles for efficiency we have a complete imbalance of responsibility. Am I going to clean my bathroom when it gets to be less than sanitary? Yes. Does this make me a woman? No. Here's the kicker though, if I'm cooking and cleaning as ANY adult should, am I perceived as less of a man?
Unfortunately, possibly so.
I'm not racist, im not sexist, I'm still going to cook and clean when necessary and sometimes just because I want to. I am all for equal rights treatment and pay for QUALIFIED applicants meaning you do everything your counterparts racially and sex/sexuality can do BETTER than they do. Not so the company can meet its e/o quota. The same goes for the domestic work. Both sexes and all races are human beings and should be treated as such with regards to RESPECT and DIGNITY. It should be noted that these attributes should be EARNED.
Men cooked before women did. We created and guarded fire to enrich our lives. So if charring a ribeye makes me a Nancy boy by some uneducated Cretan's standards oh well. Finding a woman to wash the dishes after is not the fault of my flexibility.

This is oxymoronic. We either like equality or we don't. You either like equality or you don't. Before we had languages and monetary systems things were much more simple. When imaginary lines marked bloodshed made their way across our landscapes though and principles did not cross them. Even as we speak someone somewhere is dying because of a thought that someone couldn't accept. Even more relationships are being torn by ignorance stubborness and stupidity.
Equality means sharing, PERIOD. Sometimes it's 60/40, 70/30, much much less often it's 50/50. There are no rules in our society to govern our relations amongst family, friends, church, etc. That is the tryany our forefathers died to escape. Freedom is not a right, it is a responsibility and a privilege. It is up to all of us to find what is holding us back (stubborness, stupidity) and correct it.

Some men aren't sexist, but are you denying that most will not wash a dish? It's called woman's work for a reason; cooking, cleaning, childcare. In the modern world men used to provide, now they want women to bring half the paycheck and still do all the rest, and be sex objects too! A big portion of the world however, still has men providing the basics while women handle 'woman's work'. The less modern world women often bring some income home, but luckily they are not sex objects and in many places they can often breastfeed in public easier than in the US, but men in those cultures mostly not getting mixed up with housework or childcare whatsoever. (Europe has more men sharing the 'woman's work' than anywhere else and it's still not 50/50). So, argue all you want the facts remain. You may be different, but there are so many cultures out there.

Sadly Women's rights are so poor in some parts of the world, the UN is considering placing their importance above that of Human rights, in their campaigning to various nations. I was quite surprised to hear this recently on the TV.

I live alone now and do my own domestic chores, but when living with someone you do tend to work together to get things done in a way that suits you both in my opinion.

Actually, men should have to do the grocery shopping, as bringing home food is one the main aspect of "manliness" from the days of the cave man.

I can't figure out why anyone irons, the entire concept of pressed clothes is just a foolish waste of time in my opinion.

And if you've never given your lady a bath, well, you're just missing out.

Just saying....

I just came home from grocery shopping and carrying it home (about 20 pounds)and I paid for it too. And I cook and I clean and I take care of the baby. And the ex is here complaining he has to pay rent ($300 per month only). And I pay half the utilities.
