Who owns Fox News?

Is it Rupert Murdoch & his corporation that he acquired in 1985- Twentieth Century Fox?

Is Prince A-Waleed bin Talai the #2 owner?

I have been hearing this since 2013 & in Jan 2014 there was another article.
There is a group on f*c*book called, "The Liberal F*c* Group that is continuing to perpetuate this rumor (?)

Australian born media mogul Rupert Murdoch is the chairman and CEO of 21st Century Fox, the owner of Fox News Channel. He has been a subject of controversy and criticism as a result of his substantial influence in both the print and broadcast media. In the United States, he is the publisher of the New York Post newspaper and the magazine The Weekly Standard. Accusations against him include the "dumbing down" of news and introducing "mindless vulgarity" in place of genuine journalism, and having his own outlets produce news that serve his own political and financial agendas. According to the BBC website: "To some he is little less than the devil incarnate, to others, the most progressive mover-and-shaker in the media business."[23]

I don't trust the BBC's opinion.
For world news, especially terrorism, they are IMO one of best. *And have been reporting The Nation of Islam's terrorism, since the 1970's, WE weren't * But they continuously kiss Obama's a**.
And became increasingly 'selective' in what they were reporting about anything in the USA.

ALL news agencies are propagandists. You have to filter their reports in your mind to discern any tidbits of truth.

When in doubt...I've used these places for 'FACT CHECKING' any and all things that just don't seem quite right and with any thing that comes off of FOX MEDIA it's going to be challenged every time! They have the worst ratio for lies and creditability throughout the REAL NEWS channels here in America!
PolitiFact.com
OpenSecrets.org
TruthOrFiction.com
Hoax-Slayer.com

I've even caught NYTimes in printed lies and mistakes and that seems to have become the new 'NORMAL' for our newsprint these past 15 years! Sad but to true I even have to listen and be aware about what I repeat from my dearly loved NPR {nonprofit radio} that has been my main stay for over 50 years!

This last image says a lot about how our TRUST issues with our media has really dropped off {and I sure wish I had some updated ratio's to show you}...because more recent events would have brought those figures even lower!

Oh good grief. Checking political truths websites. How about checking news that ignores the news. It's not always what the news (tv, print, political pundits et al) it's what they may decide NOT to report. Can't check that for truth!! Can you! If CNN/NBC/MSNBC/CBS/ABC or any other place like the BCC choose to not report the news then there's not a damn thing to fact check is there.

It's a game of deception. The best news site for US news is the UK Daily News. lol
