I have a neighbor that's a web cam girl and she is ok to look at but not book smart or even very intelligent. Not someone I would date.
The cashier at the store is not a beautiful woman but she knows her books and smart. I think I rather date her. Now I am wondering if my age is starting to lay apart in my choice of women I am wanting to date |

Probably...we get more picky as we get older...as for intelligence, that doesnt matter....

Took you damn long to figure out that looks can decieve! Here is what happens... IMO * trying to avoid a sex war & locked thread  * Men my age & older, had a full life & a variety of women. Many married 2-4 times & live in g/f 's. Apparently in their youth, thinking with the wrong head & assuming there will always be MORE time. They functioned & followed their lust..  Then anytime after 38yrs old (from my experience,& the hormone level starts dropping at 40), they say to themselves " Oh **** i'm alone " And they realized, what they lusted after didn't work & they can't attract those women anymore....& they are alone. * hiding behind my sofa now...  *

A serious thought, on the topic... How do you measure intelligence? Is it based on her knowledge of what you hold dear and feel is important? Because I could tell you how to pack a main parachute, or how to get a horse to pick up the correct canter lead, but could not tell you much at all about real estate.

Wow wouldn't it be better OP to find someone that
is well on your intellect level along with looks. I am sure there are some out there... Careful the ones you think are the dumbest might fool ya... then where will you be. |

Intelligence, just like beauty, is in the eye/mind of the beholder...IMHO.
It depends on what you are looking for. Everyone/anyone has some intelligence, some more and some less. Just like a marriage, he/she may not be AS intelligent as you, but that is GOOD because it balances out the relationship. one person is good/smart at one thing and the other is good/smart at another....with both people working together with each of their strengths, IT WORKS
