I see a slip off for Chris Hanson and the 'NBC To Catch A Predator' TV series:
'NBC To Catch A Terrorist' Chris Hanson doing street art interviews and hidden camera's --- the weapons/bombs might be hazard of the JOB but it would be great TV! IMHO

Statement from Garland suspect's family

Elton Simpson was one of two men killed by Garland police on Sunday evening when they allegedly began firing assault rifles outside a Muhammad cartoon competition.

On Monday night, a Phoenix law firm representing Simpson's family released this statement via e-mail:

"We send our prayers to everyone affected by this act of senseless violence, especially the security guard who was injured in the line of duty. As a family we do not condone violence and proudly support the men and women of our law enforcement agencies. We are sure many people in this country are curious to know if we had any idea of Elton's plans. To that we say, without question, we did not.

"Just like everyone in our beautiful country, we are struggling to understand how this could happen.

"We will not make further statements. We are heartbroken and in a state of deep shock as we grieve. We humbly request that everyone respect our need for privacy."

From the Gardian:

"It said the cost of hiring in the officers was $10,000, an expense which Pam Geller, the event's organiser, described as 'the high cost of freedom.'

Meanwhile, the security man injured in the shootout has been identified in local media as Garland Independent School District officer Bruce Joiner. The 58-year-old was treated in a nearby hospital after he was shot in the ankle, but was released less than two hours later, according to local TV station NBC DFW.

Bosch Fawstin, who was due to collect $10,000 after his Muhammad caricature won the event, told the paper that when he saw how much security was in place was around the event he didn't believe there would be any danger.

WVTM 13 said the around 200 people who attended the event had to buy tickets in advance and go through metal detectors in the way in. 'We were prepared for something like this,' the news station quoted Joe Harn, a police spokesman, as saying.
"

When she was interviewed the organizer stated that "it cost her $50,000 to put on the show." In context, I think a lot of the expense was the extra security she had to pay but I saw a video of the crowd and there is no way she could have made a profit selling tickets.

In a way, the terrorist succeeded. After the shooting there was a bomb scare so the guest speaker did not speak. Freedom of speech was lost.

Wish I had been there! People like this need our support.

People hold a banner to condemn an organizer for a recent event in Texas, as they hold a special service at a public park in Peshawar, Pakistan, Tuesday, May 5, 2015. About 50 Islamists held the special service Tuesday in northwest Pakistan for two men killed in the U.S. state after they opened fire at a cartoon contest featuring images of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad. The cleric Mohammad Chishti led the service for Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi.

They can condemn it, but we have the right to do it.

So now there are published reports of ISIS directly threatening to kill Pamela Geller, and to also target anyone helping her set up shows. Claiming to have names of show attendees and the cop who took out our Keystone Jihaddis, ISIS says they are at risk of attack as well.

Guess Pam was right regarding the homicidal tendencies of Muslims.

Claiming to have ISIS operatives in 15 states, and ready to go when called, they claim the Texas attack was not intended to succeed but to prove how willing these people are to die for the cause. Saying that they knew she was well protected, Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber supposedly gave themselves up for sacrifice.

Great! Feel free to meet Allah at high speed by pretending to launch attacks. I'm sure there are cops and private citizens more than happy to send you to Allah's waiting room.

I support Pamela Geller's defense of free speech. If we are intimidated by terror, terror will only demand more. They are already demanding Sharia law spread.

Who thinks what she did was wrong?

Went to the grocery store this am. A uniformed Garland Policeman was there trying to checkout. Many handshakes shakes, hugs and thanks for him. It was good.
