What depths would you go to, to get the one you truly love back

None? I am not 16 years old or living in a movie?

"Back" presumes we've broken up.

Either I broke up with her, or she broke up with me.

Breakups aren't accidental or all "ooops, I tripped and now we're broken up? Oh noes! I gotta do something to get her back!"

The breakup itself is just a means to communicate a decision that's been decided on by at least one person.

If I don't respect her decision to break up with me, don't accept the decisions she's made for herself, then I ultimately don't respect her. I am either calling her wishy washy, or stupid.

If I don't respect my decision to break up with her, if I don't remain consistent with it, then I'm flaky and indecisive and untrustworthy. Who knows what I will flip flop on next.

And if we did get back together then it would just make the entire relationship like a push me pull you game.
Not based on love, but just using each other for some shallow dramatic emotional validation.

If one person has decided the need to break up is necessary then some part of them has already moved on by the time they've actually communicated the final decision of it being over.

If not, then they are just playing games like a child, going to extremes in order to manipulate desired behavior.

So, I wouldn't go to any depths to "get the one you truly love back."
If I truly love them, then I respect their decisions.
If I truly love them, then I know how my behavior will affect them and use that in context with everything that justified breaking up.

Not to mention, if they truly love me, they won't make me go to any "depths."

If I truly love them, but they don't love me, then my love will ultimately harm them if I keep trying to force it on them as though my love is contagious and will fix everything.
