I'm glad someone asked the questions cireton

either violence is always bad or good or we take it case by case, why its dependent upon gender has never made sense to me either

people shouldnt be up on stage when they havent been invited, and violence is not an answer,, but it isnt the worst of catastrophes ,,,,,for sure to be hit once ,, even by a man,, when you are in their space

he should be charged, he was, and life moves on,,

Violence should always be the last resort. All though some of these musicians do have some serious stalkers and people who would do anything to get near them so they can be on edge, but usually if there is a potential for a situation they double or triple security and even then it's not fool proof. Someone who really wants to can get up on stage even if it is lined up with security. $hit happens.

Generic A&B isn't considered a very serious
offense in many jurisdictions.

Low fines, and minimal or no jail time.

doesnt it become a different charge if the person who gets hit gets knocked out cold?

Nope.

The charge can be upgraded if,
serious or life threatening injury occur.

The charge can be upgraded if, there were
repeated punches.

Etc...

o i always thought that if the person got knocked out cold, it was upgraded to a more serious offense. wonder if she sued him for all that "bcuz i got high" one hit wonder money?

Only if they were in a relationship, related or serious bodily harm was inflicted.

you mean domestic violence?

In YOUR mind you are arguing each instance of BBB as case by case, like a criminal defense attorney.
You think you are following a rational line of thought & justice, & planting seeds of doubt in favor of the defendant.

But that is NOT what people see in your posts & where & when you post & what you post about...
Which is defending ANY BBB.

You have a pattern, people see it. You may actually believe this helps your agenda or that it is for the "greater good". Or ...you want to create conflict, and sit back & laugh.

But the reality is....
" There she goes again".
And you are NOT taken seriously at all or helping ANY Afro- Americans or ANY women, or ANY (rational, peaceful) Society.

You are playing a DEADLY " Blame game ".
Blame EVERYONE (now it is women) but the BBB/ Criminals themselves.
Defend, make allowances for, make excuses for, imply sympathy for, imply empathy for, create a division & diversion, create chaos.

I wish you ,your soul & your purse $, well, you are going to need it.

Shalom

It was an all out sucker punch by a 300lbs man to the noodle of a unsuspecting woman, unacceptable!

This idiot wouldn't have made it back to his car where I'm from.

I suppose that's why this crap keeps happening... No accountability, no real justice, slap on the wrist kind of society.indifferent

Don't give Hollywood any ideas.. Next they will make a game show out of it.

Like a Twister type game... where game show contestants walk past celebrities on stage who then randomly punch them in the face knocking them out cold.

Whatever colored circle they collapse on..they win the money printed on it... land on the circle printed " tough S**t.. and you get nothing... just a broken jaw

who did i blame exactly?

its ok,, I know delusions of racism ignite all over and over when some people see the black chick comment on black folks

but what I said was

he should be charged, he was charged and life moves on (no defending)

the fact that some assume its due to his race is their hangup , not mine, I would have said the same whomever the performer was,,,,,

in FACT, I actually agreed with what a poster BEFORE Me said,, one I dont think is being accused of 'bbb'

I also said that morals went out a long time ago by pointing out that the drunk female who decided to jump on a stage and try to grind on a stage wasnt an epitome of 'morality' either

seems some have such a NEED to point fingers , they even point fingers at people for actually spreading around RESPONSIBILITY

.in certain situations anyhow,,,

he saw the "drunk" female on the stage, he could have asked her to get off or told security to get her off. theres no justifiable reason to punch a woman in the face for dancing next to you. im pretty sure if he was telling her to get off the stage, the last thing she is going to do is start grinding on him.

there isnt anything 'justifiable' about hitting anyone the way he did, just like there is no 'justifiable' reason to rape someone

but because of reality being what it is,, its a good idea for a woman not to walk down an alley butt naked

and its a good idea not to come up on someones stage during a performance and crowd them

anyone who has read my posts over the years knows I dont give in to the 'exception for a woman ' rule

adults shouldn't put their hands on adults, if they do they arent an automatic victim if they are hit back just because they are a female,, thats my stance

to me,, her gender and race are irrelevant,
to me he had no right to hit that person
to me that person shouldn't have jumped on the stage to grind on a stranger,,,
