Just watching the morning news report regarding the CDC report of "Distinctive Causes of Death" for each State.

My State - Human Immunodeficiency Virus!

Never been so glad I am not a successful dater!

Time to think about moving back north...or, well, just anywhere else.

Thats a sad state...

In my county there are approximately 3 people out of every 1264 with an HIV/AIDS diagnosis. For the black demographic, the rate is 1 out of every 150 men! That is scary stuff.

And those figures are based on DIAGNOSED and REPORTED cases! Doesn't include the "unknowns".

You'd think after all these years of awareness people would be safeguarding themselves.

Of course I have the "blessing" of involuntary abstinence enforced by societal bias (translation: chicks don't dig me)

Any ladies in Rhode Island? Most death there is attributed to "Other and Unspecified Events"

I have "water, air, and space and unspecified transport deaths and their sequelae...
Can they get a bit more vague here..
I thought it would be more of stupidity or bear bait...

I get aids or shot by "accident"!

Not so bad, once you look up what those fancy labels actually mean.

Most common cause of death in my state, is Heart failure. Kind of like saying "old age."

Another good thing to check before you panic: where are the main specialists for each disease located? Your state might have THE main hospital that studies and treats the listed disease. if they count all the people who moved there to get treatment as State citizens, the numbers might be misleading.

A couple of those seem to be somewhat scary.

I mean
"U: Legal intervention."
Is that death by cops or run over by an ambulance?

"W: Other and unspecified events of undetermined intent and their sequelae"
Is that "we don't know what the hell is wrong with these people."
Or ebola?
Zombies maybe?

Hell, I don't even visit there, much less date there.
