anyone looking to the west right now? great view of the moon, Venus, and Jupiter right now, in a triangle formation... Venus is the bright light

Venus .. She is easy to see . Althought it is day in nz .. Will look for her tonight . Enjoy mo she glowing really bright right now... i hope you get the same view we got here in texas

Was just outside. Was an interesting view. Did you catch the north to south travel of that satellite?

Cratered by imperfections.” ― Tahereh Mafi, Shatter Me I almost like this quote..almost had it stopped at "...full of light." after that.. what started as an astute observation became almost theatrical and a bit melodramatic..AND YET YEARS OF WATCHING THE MOON EVERY CHANCE I GOT... makes me appreciates Mark Twain's “Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.” - haha just blubbering.. peace:)

Was just outside. Was an interesting view. Did you catch the north to south travel of that satellite? north to south? odd direction for a satellite...i live in the city, so the lights drown out the dimmer objects up there, i have to go to the beach to see more....

The beach is to cloudy to see anything tonight, I am envious of those of you that can. i'm not at the beach now, it's about an hours drive from here... but i always take my telescope when i do go... there's a lot more to see in the sky from there, less light pollution...

Hey Moe, You should bring Your telescope to LaBroquerie. On a new-moon night, out here in the bush, You can't see Your own hand in front of Your face.

Straight north of Texas in the same time-zone is the Provence of Manitoba. Manitoba's capital is Winnipeg and I'm in a little town southeast of it by about 50 miles, called LaBroquerie.

I'm just going to look for, 'Dobson Telescope' with my search engine. Maybe it uses both ways of displacing light.
