I don't mean this in a sexual manner. At least not completely.
Not having to go to bed alone. I miss that. Some might argue and say that no one has to go to bed alone. And I guess in a way they would be right. But it just isn't the same as having that familiar face right there with you. Your best everything. |

I do my best not to dwell on it. When I first divorced 15 years ago, after just 6 years of marriage, I thought I would never sleep again. Not too long ago I had a parting of the ways with someone that I loved more than I ever loved my X wife. It's kinda hard to put into words. Here it is 3:15 AM Eastern Time. And I'm awake. Here it is, it's been 11 months give or take a little since we ended. And I still don't sleep very well. With my X, It took all of 2 months before I finally started sleeping. I just thought without her, my X wife, I would never sleep again. I found out it can be worse. As the days go by things get easier. But this time, It's taking its time. |

I can't comprehend want you are going through because my heart left the marriage long before my body did. It wasn't till 7 years later that it dawned on me that my youngest is leaving home and I will have no one. That's when I joined mingle.
