Additional qualifications needed. 1) ability to freeze your a** off for 9 months out of the year 2) Willingness to wait at the air strip you just carved out of snow for the monthly drop of standard supplies 3) ability to gut what you just shot and drag it back to the cabin for cut up and preserving in jars 4) enjoy cabin fever 5) ability to fix a 2 way radio in order to talk with another human 6) willingness to not see civilization for long periods of time 7) set traps for small animals, so you can later eat them 8) enjoy the thrill of being chased by wolves and bears 9) stand on a frozen lake holing a string in a hole in the ice for hours But hey, the air is clean
