What's next in the Hillary Clinton email controversy?

WASHINGTON -- The investigation into Hillary Clinton's email is broadening and is now sure to push deep into 2016.

The former secretary of state has turned over tens of thousands of emails to the FBI -- and has now agreed to hand over her private email server.
The question is whether classified information was put at risk because of her unusual use of the server in her home to conduct State Department business.

For months, Clinton has refused to turn over her private server, and instead provided to the State Department only the messages she considered related to her work as secretary of state -- about half of the 60,000 emails on the server.

"The server contains personal communications from my husband and me, and I believe I have met all of my responsibilities and the server will remain private," Clinton said in March.

But with the FBI now reviewing the security of her email system, Clinton changed course -- agreeing to turn over to the Justice Department the entire server and a thumb drive containing copies of the emails.

Clinton used the private system for all her email, but she has repeatedly denied she used it to send or receive classified information, which can only be transmitted across secure government networks.
"I am confident that I never sent or received any information that was classified at the time it was sent and received," she said.

But the inspector general for the intelligence community found in a limited review of 40 emails that at least four "contained classified information when they were generated" and "should never have been transmitted via an unclassified personal system."

On Tuesday, the State Department said the inspector general determined that two of those four emails "should be upgraded to the top secret level," one of the highest levels of classification.

The emails were not marked as "classified," but not all classified information is stamped "classified."

State Department employees are trained on how to recognize and handle that kind of highly sensitive information -- and are warned not to discuss it outside classified areas.

I think the count of "classified," emails is over 300 now.

What's next? Hopefully prison. Seriously. The woman is evil incarnate. Watergate, Whitewater, Vince Foster, Travelgate, Humagate, E-mailgate. Even if she has actually never done anything illegal (which I would happily debate) she has shown a lifetime record of shockingly poor decision making.

She has apparently learned the ONLY lesson politicians ever need to live by. Deny everything until they find the truth. IF they DO, then walk out the microphones, say mistakes were made/you are only human/you were embarrassed to admit the truth. You ask the American public to forgive you, because you know Americans are forgiving people. You ask for privacy in this difficult time, and you will be co-operating with the authorities in the interests of making sure the truth is told.

Now you will go make a plea bargain deal, open up your blackmail file, throw a couple small fry under the bus, and the news machine will be fed for another couple weeks.

After a lengthy investigation a judge will determine there is no public interest served by sending Hildabeast to jail. She can however afford a large fine. The government will say justice has been done, the bad people were punished, that this should be an example to those trying to go around the law.

Hillary will write a book, generate a boatload more donations for the Clinton Foundation, serve on a couple boards for 6-7 figure yearly salaries, and ride off into the pantsuit sunset a free woman.

Gee, do I sound cynical. Save this post and read it in 5 years.

"" Hillary Clinton’s email servers were
maintained by a mom-and-pop outfit — run
out of an old bathroom closet in a
downtown Denver loft, according to a
published report on Tuesday.
While Platte River Networks has ties to
Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, it wasn’t
immediately clearly how the company got
hooked up with the former secretary of
state and Democratic presidential front-
runner, the Daily Mail said .
The company’s work with Clinton was a
secret to many of its employees, who were
amazed when they learned of it.
“At the time I worked for them they
wouldn’t have been equipped to work for
Hillary Clinton because I don’t think they
had the resources, they were based out of a
loft, so [it was] not very high security, we
didn’t even have an alarm,” Tera Dadiotis,
a former customer relations consultant
between 2007 and 2010, told the website.
“I don’t know how they run their operation
now, but we literally had our server racks
in the bathroom.”"

The idiot in chief will leave Hitlery to her own devices for now... before elections.... but she will get a presidential pardon for ALL her sins before he leaves office

That's why she's not worried about anything..... the deal has been struck!

And that's the heart of this mess: the remarkable arrogance with which Clinton puts herself above the law, about the rules that apply to everyone else from her decision to use a private server in the first place, to her deletions, to the long refusal to turn the server over until the FBI declared a criminal investigation.

Plus, of course, a blase attitude toward national-security secrets.

It will cost her big...financially & politically to bury this

So her server was in a Denver bathroom closet? Well hold on kids. The server she 'gave' the FBI was in a New Jersey warehouse. In addition, didn't wasn't the press always saying the server was in Clinton's house? Sooooo, exactly HOW MANY servers are there?

As I noted in other posts, the server she says she turned over to the FBI was a red herring. Why? It was 'wiped' and upgraded in 2013. In March 2015 Hildabeast says she nuked 32,000 'personal' e-mails in 2014. Kinda tough to delete e-mail from a 'blank' server sitting on a shelf in a New Jersey warehouse since 2013, don't ya think?

She had to delete those e-mails from another server if her timeline is right. So was that the Denver server? She didn't hand that one over to the FBI as far as I can see based on recent news stories.

Maybe someone was high in Denver thinking they had a server rack in a closet? lol

What's next in the Hillary Clinton email controversy?

I would guess pointing to something like:
http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/22/politics/opm-hack-18-milliion/
"First on CNN: U.S. data hack may be 4 times larger than the government originally said"

and say

"Why does it matter? What difference, at this point, does it make!?!"

Hell if I know...I cant keep up with all her lies anymore.
The sad part is that there are still people who will back her...even in this circus.
She should bow out but everyone knows that wont happen. You just cant make this **** up.
Like youve stated in some other posts....throw out the legality of it all....she's still too damn incompetent to hold some podunk town's alderman seat, much less the presidency.

When will a real contender enter the race?

Blood is in the water and she is pretty much done. She will hang around until someone big gets in..

The investigation is still in progress. You folks are jumping straight to whatever conclusions you have, based on your own desires, prejudices and desired outcomes.

I'm pro-evidence/ investigation/ conclusion, myself. Anything else, is just childish self-indulgence.

Zing!

Hillary Clinton has a horrific track record and is rotten to the core. She's also grossly unqualified to run for president. What has she accomplished that is actually positive throughout her hideous political career?

She's managed with the help of a liberal media, her corrupt political cronies, and large financial backers, to hide in plain sight all the dead and damaged bodies she and Willie have left in their wake.

Maybe she should apply to run as mafia boss..... NOT president.... it better suits her qualities and credentials!

Will the real Teflon Don please stand up?
