My friends,

Having completed this, my latest recording, " A Most Radiant Moon, " I've made it available for review here . . .

http://picosong.com/JY3j

I hope ye find it worthy of your time and listening. Thank you all and be well,

tommy boy moran / Ireland

PS:

I like this ' Picosong ' link site. It's free of commercial input. And I think I shall be recording more of my works, gradually, and over time. If I receive a good enough response to this here in Mingle2 I shall contemplate the same.

Dread, my good wholesome friend,

Thank ye for taking your important time out to visit. I hope ye sat through it all. I have just now completed this piece of recorded verse, and, I might add it is important to know it finds itself welcomed by you, Dread, and those others interested here. For if this is so, I shall indeed contemplate graduating more of the same into this slender forum.

Thank ye, Dread, and be well,

Hello again tommoboy101. Am sure i join many others in trusting that you be well and able to greet whatever it is that life deals you with good cheer and indomitable spirit. Yes, I listened to the piece in its entirety. An uplifting experience not only in and of the piece itself but also for having heard the author's delivery. I often wonder about this aspect when reading a pice of work; and so it provided an often insights to the piece that are often left to the imagination.

More power to you my friend.

regards

To the Fisherman

Should necessity be in the forming crowd,
to turn around and wander by,
thinking of long forgotton waves,
of talking winds that speak no change,
of children ,singing, while the lilies die,
hands ajoined in a circle formed.

Though the children sing the lilies are dead,
though the children sing the lilies are dead,
yet the sea will not give up her sons.

Should the sons of the sea have gone down to the deep,
darkened like memories dead,
we still dance round the maypole
neath the waterfall,
as life weaves about us
her tapastry of blue.

Though the children sing thr lilies are dead,
though the children sing the lilies are dead,
yet,the sea will not give up her sons.

Listen, tulip2633, Ladywind7 and Dreadaye,

I wish to thank ye one and all for taking your very important time out to review this piece with me. Indeed you're all so very kind. And I respect all of you so very much. Thank you.

scotland166,

As per your, " To The Fisherman, " I'm not sure, was this your work? Of your hand and mind? If so, what a moving piece of flowing wordplay. I like the momentum. I fell deep into this and landed inside gently as if upon a soft pillow. I was amassed. Very pleased.

Thank ye, scotland166, for sharing. In any future event please signature your pieces so that we may appreciate it's real and true worth, that of being of the hand of the submitting poet - whom I pray was you. Initials just won't normally do here inside this slender garden of written song - and of given wit. We need more, scotty.

Thank ye, everyone!

SitkaRains,

Thank ye, my friend. Always the temperamental poet I exist with some constancy within the gentle framework of my feathery, moonlit dreams. And once inside the hollow draft of the sacred winds that blow there, I become like the laboured wisp o' a songbird - beyond flight. Well into night. For this is where we all dwell best. It is here we rest - the best.

Thank ye, Sitka, very much,

Tommy,

You read it as though it was a solemn prayer. A tribute to an everlasting wonderment that you beheld.

Your voice was not what i expected. It is very gratifying to be able to put a sound to the words you convey.

Cheers, drinker
