I think that women ...and men, at our age, are looking for something a bit more than just sex. While we still have a need for orgasm we must admit that 'making love' is more appealing than a quickie. Now, don't get me wrong, Hot sex is great but for a relationship there needs to be that extra 'umph' that tops the sex and enters into the making love area. At 50 we are not all dried up and our sex drives are very much intact. But at 50, we have a lifetime of experience that teaches us that sex is not the sole driving force that governs us. I believe that women over 50 are just as driven by sex as men. However, sex is now only part of the equation and you have to have other qualities that complete the scene. Well said... I wish there was a clapping hands icon.. Could not have said it any better~~~ How is this Rains?

Womens sex drive? They should wait until they get homes or at least park first. Having sex is even more dangerous than trying to text while driving.

iam 66. and was divorced in 2007. last year i got into a very unusual relationship. she was 49. i hired her to take care of my mom. living in the same house as my mom and i. and she made it clear that she was NOT going to be my girl friend. in any way. and that was fine with me. but we got close ONLY as best friends. and some times she would hug me. and ONLY short hugs. i finely had to tell her that for me the hugs was better than sex. and i was happy with that. but she stopped taking care of my mom. and i had to fire her. but i still miss her.

Hey guys, Its not what it seems. A woman is not just to bend over and take. She wants something more. When you fill that yearning for her you will find that her sex drive matches or even surpasses yours. For the most part all you will be able to do is hang on for dear life because when she is pushing the issue, it is STRONG! Your job is to give her the right love to put her in gear. When they are there they can burn right into your heart.

my last sweetheart was a year and a month older than myself... i would walk into the greenhouse from outside and find her sitting in one of the highback swivel chairs in one of my shirts and nothing else... with that look... we had a happy horny sex life and spent a lot of time laughing... there was no place on this property that we didn't find ourselves having a romp or two over the years we were together... she loved sundresses and so do I!!! LOL especially when she would be on her knees out in the garden someplace pulling weeds or picking veggies...

I was told by the olds that it dies to a small dried piece and it was something you need to look out for. Grandparents can have you on a lot. I wonder if that's why they had separate rooms and snoring was an excuse? I don't know who to believe

I teach nursing students and one of the things we teach is that if the nurse (or student) walks in on an older couple in a nursing home or other housing for those considered unable to care for themselves, the nurse is to apologize, close the door, and walk away. You might be surprised how often that happens. Go granny!

at 58 I have very strong desires to make love. I have had enough "sex" but I mean totally make love to my entire body!
