I suspect that what you are really asking is, whether it is actually realistic or possible to enjoy love of another "forever" or not.

Or if the idea of a life-long devoted relationship, is just a fairy tale, believed in only by fools and small children.

If that's it, then my answer is that yes, forever CAN be real, however it requires greater wisdom than the majority of humans possess.

I disagree.

When you compare the accepted standard age of the earth to Humans, we have been on this earth aproximately 3 days. So with this scale of time. We have no conception of the concept of Forever. Even if you live to be 100, that is not forever. It may be as close as we can come to forever. If you spend those 100 years with a loved one, it's still not forever.
Chinese belive that when learning about the positive things in the universe, 1000 years is not enough time. When learning about the negitive things 1 hour is too long.

The most you can do is spend the time you have enjoying your life, with whoever you choose. Vive LA amour!

Forever is a idea that most humans toy with but no one can truly understand. To give you an example the only time that forever has ever been used in a context befitting of its true scope is when science says that not ever this universe will last forever and that eventually even black hole will brake down. The full meaning of this concept is so far beyond us that we say things like "this line is taking for ever, to get through" when in reality the trillions of millennial that make up the life span of the universe is like the blink of an eye in comparison.

So to answer your question, yes forever is real but nothing within our scope of comprehension can truly define it.

The best way to experience forever is to grab your lover and jump into the gravitational field of the nearest black hole. The space/time distortion will cause time to actually stop as you pass the event horizon giving you that wonderful "forever" in a practical way.

Yes but you would spaghettifi or be stretched to your disintegration. Probably better just to rent a motel. As a friend says "just saying!"

Forever does exist depending on the commitment of every individual. Some hold on to each other no matter what and others just don't honor their vows to each other. But if you honor your words, promises, vows and commitment forever is possible till eternity , even after death and if you believe in reincarnation love could still happen.
