I get daily emails that I have new matches, but if I check, no one is current or out of florida. used to work fine

I'm receiving a lot of "mutual matches" but it is painfully obvious that most of them are fake profiles. They are either out of my age range or out of my distance range. I know a lot of these dating sites do this to keep you interested but come on, is it really necessary. Really insults my intelligence.

It isn't just the site doing mutual match. Members can go to someone's profile and click match with him/her. Plus mutual match is just meant to be a fun way to interact with others.

Report the fakes!

If you have over a hundred "matches" and never even , got one email from them, you can read....fake, into that...The end.

Try reporting them instead, upper right on every profile
you will see 'Report This User.'

That is how they get..gone.

The match thing is a crock. no matter how many times i try to change the criteria I still get "matches" outside the criteria. I live near swansea and set it to 25 miles but still get most of them in Birmingham and Liverpool with a few in Somerset and occasionally get 1 or 2 near me.
complete waste of time imo

Read my post. The reason is because members themselves (no matter where they are) can click match on your profile

Yup, I can plead guilty to having done that...many a time, actually still do....But, yes, there is always a but...somewhere...I do it simply to show the person, yes, there is someone somewhere that likes them....just in case, they have a similar feeling like I had years ago when I got divorced, that nobody liked me...Since getting over that, I dont even care if I have over 100 mutual matches (not a single msg from them though) because I understand , thats what they are telling me to...now....just saying...
