The first lady made her debut Wednesday at the Austin showcase of buzzworthy bands and technology. She sat with Grammy winners Queen Latifah and Missy Elliott to talk about girls’ education and empowerment. But Mrs. Obama broke into song when reflecting on seven years in the White House. She said “time is almost up” before softly singing some of the Boyz II Men hit “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.” She says she’ll most miss interacting with people as first lady — and says she has no presidential aspirations. The South by Southwest festival also encouraged women to chase their dreams. Mrs. Obama used the platform to both talk about her campaign, Let Girls Learn, and showcase the song “This is for my girls,” according to NPR. “I want you all downloading that song and I want us all singing that anthem,” said Obama. The song is only available on iTunes and is performed by Missy Elliott, Kelly Clarkson and Janelle Monae. President Barack Obama also spoke at the festival last week. |

I realize that this story is a few days old. But WTF!?
Ugh..just what this county needs, another Obama singing. (At least this wasn't a criminal funeral) Who the hell asked her about being ' Commander & Chief '? What would be her platform? 'How to match your burka, at Target (store) for spring' ? Geez. This * cough * woman can't keep a kitchen staff at the White House.  |

I think it would be great if she ran for president. If nominated she would lose thus ensuring that she wouldn't carry on her husbands agenda and legacy.
