I read many profiles on her that have lies and lies of their location on it.

Can a liar be trusted?
Do liars really expect to be trusted?

Would you trust a obvious liar?.
Could you trust a liar?.

Is lies the correct way to start from.

Not for me it is not.

Is honesty and truth that hard to do.?

Or do these liars think we don't realise what they really are?

No, of course not

do these liars think we don't realise what they really are?
They don't care. They just make another profile.

A liar will always be a liar and being too trusting will always come back and bite you on the ***....Run and don't look back, you just have to keep fishing and throw the bad one's back; That goes for both sexes.

Liars are just scammers.
I have seen lots with lies in the locations.

As if these can be trusted. I am very glad you don't trust them.

I wonder why people seem to hold the word "trust" as some kind of holy relic.

Is a liar to be "trusted?"

"Trust" simply = "can I take them and their behavior for granted as neutral or altruistic to my needs and desires."

It's not some magic gold medal you earn.

"Trust" is simply "can I stop constantly analyzing them and their motives now."

Can you trust a liar?
Depends on how well you know them through direct, face to face experience.
If you don't know them, why would you be looking to trust them, what do you want to trust them with?

If you're here it means you live in a globalized, internet connected, multicultural, moral relativistic, dying community bond oriented world.

That just means the people you are talking to and exposed to don't share the same culture, or social contract determined by mores, morals, norms, taboos, etc. that you do.

It's your responsibility to figure all that out about them, and figure out if they are living up to theirs, before trust even matters.
Not for them to figure all that out about you, then decide they are going to conform to your social contract and culture, and then live it consistently, and then be able to adequately communicate all that via the internet and typing, in order to get you to "trust" them.

Unless you specifically are defining "liar" as "someone who actively and willingly works to obfuscate motives of personal gain by knowingly pursuing direct physical, emotional, mental, financial, and/or social harm to another," then everyone is a "liar."

Should liars be trusted?
No one on the internet should be trusted.
But lack of trust does not mean presence of distrust.

do these liars think we don't realise what they really are?

Trust yourself and your own abilities.
If people lie and you feel you can't trust them that's your problem.
There is no "we."
The thought there is an internet "we" is usually what gets people into the problem in the first place.
You are not part of a group that provides and kind of group safety that isn't illusory.
There is no group of absolute non liars that you can be a part of to rail against the group of "these liars."
Everyone is an individual.

So, does one specific person that lied to you think you don't realize what they really are?

If they're a "scammer" they're lying to everyone looking for those that won't realize, not really caring about those that do anymore than a girl scout selling cookies cares if you don't open your door.

If they're just a dater they don't really care if you realize they are lying, they've already come up with justifications and protections against it so them it doesn't matter.

It really doesn't matter if you realize what they are, except to yourself, where you can feel proud of yourself.

If you're looking for back pats from internet strangers you're going to get just as many punches.

Its simple if you think someone is lying about her identity then dont send her a message or stop looking at her profile.
Location is not an evidence of lying.
You should give everyone the benefit of a doubt.
Besides, dont be afraid of risking especially if she is fluent in your language.
Most scammers cant be former ESL instructors.

My only caution about this subject, is that I've witnessed a LOT of people over the years, declaring various other people to be liars.

Sometimes it's valid, but sometimes it's fairly petty condemnation over minor issues.

It's common for people everywhere to "enhance" their attractiveness to some degree. Some people are hyper sensitive about that, and declare even minor things to be egregious.

My x was a liar and I put up with it for 8 years. She wasn't a very good one at that. That being said I never trust a liar and have good reasons not to.
