It’s official: Donald Trump has secured enough delegates to wrap up the Republican presidential nomination, according to the Associated Press.

On Thursday, the AP announced that enough unbound delegates have said they were willing to support Trump to put the real estate mogul over the threshold to win the nomination.

Trump now has 1,238 delegates, the AP reports, one above the 1,237 needed to win the Republican nod.

This news isn’t exactly surprising. Trump has been the presumptive Republican presidential nominee since earlier this month when he won the Indiana primary, resulting in his two remaining rivals — Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich — to drop out of the GOP race.

One of the unbound delegates who decided to back Trump is Colorado Republican Party chairman Steve House.

"Leadership is leadership," House said, according to the AP. "If he can surround himself with the political talent, I think he will be fine."

House is notable because in April he was the target of an angry backlash and threats from Trump supporters over his handling of the Republican convention in Colorado after Trump did not receive a single delegate in the state.

Oklahoma GOP chairwoman Pam Pollard, who also indicated her support of Trump to AP, said the real estate mogul had "touched a part of our electorate that doesn't like where our country is."

"I have no problem supporting Mr. Trump," she told the AP.

I'm sorry...I quit reading after "universal healthcare" ....noticed the liberal talking points....failed ones,at that....and judging by how I've spent the day trying to run down info on a $2200 hospital bill my 85y/o mom got in the mail this week...one that she never got BEFORE this "great healthcare"... I see no need to argue with an Obama cuck.
"Universal healthcare" as a success...pfftt...

Hillary only fights for herself.

Actually she will be fighting to stay out of prison. That Romanian Hacker Grucifer who hacked her server and got classified material has pleaded guilty after only being in the US a couple weeks. He has also agreed to testify against her.

Bye bye Hitlery.

This nation is obsessed with reality tv. Entertainment Tonight. The oscars. Ask yourself Do you know who your congress man/woman. The two senators in your state 30 years ago trump would have run but been a blip on the screen. We have become a "dummy down" nation

the real estate mogul had "touched a part of our electorate that doesn't like...

OMG!
OMG!
OMG!
Potential scandal!

...where our country is."

Awwwwwww....

"I have no problem supporting Mr. Trump," she told the AP.

What's with all the innuendo from this woman?

,,,yeah,, REAL Divisive universal healthcare

Very divisive when "universal healthcare" is translated to mean "universal mandatory insurance, or else pay a tax penalty. You have to a. pay more for insurance, b. pay more in taxes for the insurance healthcare law to subsidize the market and companies until they know how high their premiums have to go next year and they'll always increase, and c. pay more for healthcare. But we promise it won't raise taxes, you can keep your doctor, healthcare will be cheaper, and it's not a tax."

equal pay for women

Very divisive when it keeps being shown that the inequality doesn't really exist and the tiny amount that does exist can't be proven that it's due to anything other than personal choice by women.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/christina-hoff-sommers/wage-gap_b_2073804.html

lgbt rights

Tend to be divisive when people keep thinking it means they have to lose something to the gain of someone else, when nothing is really being lost or changed at all, and the government doesn't help the issue at all by not explaining things on a 4th grade level instead choosing to be threatening.

she is gonna fight for the economy

Can't fight for the economy.
At best you can fight for the government defining to you and forcing on you what the economy is.
Otherwise, markets and economies simply adapt to anything the government throws at it, always working around the rules in sometimes painful ways, to what works for people. No drugs? Black market smuggling. EPA? Pay off local politicians and dump anyway. Universal healthcare? Sorry, not accepting anymore medicaid patients, got cash? come on in. Don't take cash, how 'bout bitcoin or gold. Let's start a farm coop, you produce meat, I produce vegetables, they produce fruit, we barter among us screw the FDA and thanks for the farm subsidies.

she is gonna fight for...the rights of all americans

Can't fight for the rights of all Americans.
That would require all Americans to agree explicitly what all rights are.
You can fight for purity of interpretation of the constitution and the enumerated rights therein. And you can fight to express your own as you define them.
There's a huge difference.

e.g.
regardless of religion

Some religions feel they have the right to human sacrifice, or polygamy, or not having to pay taxes, or living outside the laws of the nation that their god's laws are higher and the only ones that matter.
She still fighting "for the rights of all Americans?"

gender

I'm 28 but believe my gender is of an 8 year old pansexual boy, and my religion says I have the right to marry at 6, and I like 12 year olds.
She still fighting "for the rights of all Americans?"

race

I'm an 80 year old white guy that self identifies as a full blooded Choctaw Indian, so I am entitled to certain things from the government and reservation.
She still fighting "for the rights of all Americans?"

especially for the children and educational system

Children don't have the same rights as other people.
She fighting for the rights of children to own a gun?
How about for them to pay taxes?
Vote at birth?
How about forbidding their mom to search their room or enter without a warrant? Or being able to answer "I plead the fifth" without any consequences when asked if he slapped his sister? Or a trial by peers when the kids mom grounds him for being out past bedtime?
Or the right to report her for kidnapping when she grounds him to his room?
Rights of "all Americans."
And eh. Education system is failing on all levels. Fight the losing battle all she wants.

its just one of many efforts to represent all groups of americans

Impossible to represent all groups of Americans anymore.
Americans working too hard to individually identify as a group in themselves.
I'm a gender neutral demisexual therian wolf artist poet that's 1/8 african american, 1/4 irish, 1/10 slovakian, 1/6 native american, 1/1000000 arabian, half latte, conservatively progressive libertarian while liberally centrist college student, pan-buddhist neochristian islamic fundamental spiritualist...if you must categorize me with "labels." Call me Ze. Persyn if an honorific is necessary to conform to your perceptions.

No point in representative government if an individual will only allow themselves to represent themselves.

Centralized government can't afford to overly specialize.
Nor can it please everyone all the time.
Someone has to lose something.
Settling for nothing less than win win means almost everyone loses.

....I think I might have gone off topic.

yeah, she aint perfect

she cant single handedly do any more than any other single person can

but she will contribute her own voice and efforts to the issues mentioned

childrens education, healthcare, and safety are important issues,, regardless of the semantics of 'rights',,,and she has a history of involvement in these causes
