As for what the large chested photo shopped woman said about the big ten needing a championship game, well my answer is 9 times out of 10 it's Ohio State and Michigan fighting for that spot and they play each other at the end of eachothers schedule anyway so in essence it is the championship game it's just not called that.

That's why they play the game. Don't think they haven't learned anything from Last Year's Melt down. Jim Tressel's is one of the Best Coaches in the Country and i'm sure with all the time he'll have to prepare for WV if in fact it is WV it would be a good game. I have nothing against WV and in my opinion they played a tougher schedule than Ohio State. WV and OSU lost their only game to teams they shouldn't have lost too so anything can happen.

Sorry, but there is no way in hell OSU loses to WVU. Hate to say this, but WVU is overrated, and if they played in a conference like the SEC then they would have more than one loss.

I know West Virginia will make the BCS title game, but they better hope MIZZOU can beat OU (don't see that happening). Cause if OSU gets to the BCS game it is all she wrote.

Well...it looks like Virginia Tech has a second chance at winning the ACC! The dualing quarterbacks seem to work with this team. A good passer and a good ground game man. Coach Beamer has a way with using what he has to create wins!!

I hope you have at least watched OSU play this year! WVU will clean their clocks in the national title game! WVU is clicking on all cylinders and OSU has no answer for Pat White! The only thing that can beat WVU is a team like Mizzou that has a passing attack because that is their only weakness and from looking at OSU stats they don't seem to have much passing! WVU vs. MIZZOU would be ultimate competitive national title game. WVU vs OSU would be a blowout by WVU!

Didn't read the first part of your comment there goofball but don't try to tell me the Big 10 is a power conference! Big East football is not the SEC that is true, but really no conference has shown superiority lately, and if you were a true fan of football you would know that WVU kicked the crap out of a Georgia team that I believe is still in the SEC in their bowl game last year! We are playing Auburn and Colorado next year-- and BTW why does OSU play Youngstown State--I mean if you are going to fluff your schedule there are some high schools here in WV that are willing to travel to Columbus so OSU can have a winning record.

True fan huh. Okay JC. Let's look at it like this. Right now, if LSU were playing in the Big East, they would be unbeaten and would be playing in the national title game. Yeah. I said it, and I firmly believe it. While WVU has Pat White, whom I feel is severly underrated and Steve Slayton, WVU has no defense. And while you guys can play offense, your defense cannot handle a team even as basic as OSU. Plus, that OSU defense would do enough to slow down that "superior" WVU offense.

I realize that OSU has not played a tough schedule, and I am not even an OSU fan. My observation is that WVU would lose. And no, Mizzou could not handle WVU. It would be a fun game and all to watch, but WVU would win. But against a defense like OSU's I just feel that the Buckeyes defense would do enough to slow them down.

First of all, the BCS is a joke. We need a playoff. AT LEAST 8 teams. I'm a Buckeye fan, and this will be the second year they don't deserve to be in the championship game if they get in. Great Non conference schedule, maybe they'll play Mount Union in a couple of years. Just got that bad feeling (like I had last year) that they're gonna get blasted again.

JC. Dude. I am not questioning your knowledge on Mountaineer football. Like I said in my last post, I am giving my opinion. Yeah, that is why they play the games. LSU lost to Kentucky. Kentucky did lose to MSU. WVU beat MSU. What the heck does that prove? Not a damn thing.

Ohio State had a weak schedule this year and it was still light years tougher than that of WVU... Ohio State has better wins, and lost to a better team... I'm not sure why WVU is ranked above OSU at this point at all... the only reason is the time at which the loss took place, which is dumb.

The Big East is a joke of a football conference especially when a team like Louisville struggles like they did this season.. they are usually fighting with WVU for the most offensive talent - nobody in the conference plays defense.

Ohio State has more NFL-caliber players than WVU has seen in an entire season of Big East football - if you don't believe me, check the draft stats for the past 5 years or so.

I truly believe the only reason the Big East gets so much attention is because they have the Thursday night contract with ESPN, so they continue to hype the conference as something they are not so that people think it matters and watch the games.

Every team controls their destiny... then they lose, and the control is gone.

Ohio State deserves to be there, they won their major conference, they have only 1 loss.

After that it gets ugly - the conference champs in the SEC, Pac 10, and ACC all have 2 losses. At this point you have to decide which of those is the toughest conference to win ... and that has to be the SEC.

I would say that is why people are saying it will be Ohio State and LSU.

Like I said, I'm an OSU fan, and I'll root for them to win. I just hate the whole BCS, and would like to see a tournament. This will be a good game, I think.

Well, I felt Missouri would lose, but WVU losing did shock me. Then again, like someone in this thread said earlier, that is why they play the game.

OSU being in is a given, and I can already here people grumbling about that. LSU won the SEC, has two losses, and I can hear Georgia, Oklahoma, USC, and others grumbling about that. Yes, this is the worst nightmare in the history of the BCS, but then again this is the craziest season in college football that I can ever remember.
