Depends. If he's young and mature, I will definitely date him.

It depends on the man and how big an age difference there is and how well we get along and what we have in common. Am I looking for a younger man, no. But I am also not looking for an older man either. I am simply looking for the right man. blushing smile2

Are older women more attracted to younger guys

Older, younger, etc... women are attracted to men that are confident, honourable, great personalities, the list goes on and on.

I have dated younger it isn't the age so much as the person.

When a younger guy asks this I have to stop and ask myself, why is he asking this?

Is he thinking because he is younger and older women are "supposed to be desperate" does he think we are easy?

Is he looking for a meal ticket?

If so only the truly desperate older woman is going to latch on, which in my experience isn't really there. They are as rare as hens teeth...

Older women have been around the block and we know what we want...

We don't want to raise another child been there done that.

No we are not. We are attracted to guys who know what they want and are all together ambitious loving and confident. If that happens to be the traits of a younger man oppose to an older guy, well, we would find an attraction

Well I just say a news article about an 18 year old boy dating a 71 year old woman... After he had broken up with his previous Girlfriend who was 77...

Something just isn't right with that kid or those women... slaphead

am not an easy woman to be with.
idealist,goal oriented,independent,living a nomadic lifestyle etc.etc.

so when it comes to a romantic involvement.my prefence is a much matured guy.in terms of age,I won't mind 10 or even 15 yrs.or higher even of gap.

why?
as the emotional stability and security is much more settled.
and most likely willing to commit.

I need someone who could 'tame 'me down.
with stronger personality but not to a point of intimidating.
I need more than just a lover but a partner.in everything...yes,in everything.

so younger feller is never a consideration even:wink:

Why do you assume that just cause they are older in age that they are more mature or willing to settle??

Just not the case. I know many 40 year olds that are not "mature"

That is true and yet I have seen too many young men that hit me up and when I question them a bit more.
I get the real reason...
They think because I am 56 and still living alone that I must be lonely and
"need" a guy therefore I will settle. and I haven't in my entire life why would I start now.

So I have to ask this..
And I have to wonder if age isn't supposed to matter why is the younger man so interested in the older woman???
