Hiw long should a person be on dating sites searching for love, when do you tell,"that's it,am going to leave this online dating sites now ? So far I have not find what I have been looking for, any advice???

Well i've been on one for about 5 years. A couple more for about 2 years and now i'm lurking here. Lol so i guess it's a personal choice really.

I don't think there is any set rules on how long someone stays on a dating site. I do see some that come out here and think they can find what they are looking for in a matter of weeks. Which is really rare. I also don't believe anyone should totally rely on any dating site to find love IMHO that would be so limiting.

my advice would be not to put all your eggs in one basket use online dating as only one option while still meeting people in real life, striking up conversations the old fashioned way

After a couple years alone a friend talked me into join a sight. The old school days of finding a "decent" gal was always a miss . Ok now your online. Upload some photos of yourself and a profile. Sit back and check once a day if someone sent you some mail or responded to one you sent. Then it goes to once a week, then month . By now you've found a new sight. .. And they have a chat option. But find out it's a bunch of degenerates looking to just hook up . This will play out over and over. Take your time.
