I want to accept it as being young or accept it on the psych major syndrome of thinking that everything you're learning applies to you, but I'm really not too sure, so I'm looking for some perspective.

Friends have told me once that they thought I was bipolar, I was probably around 16 or so, and I told my parents and they said I was just being a normal teenager. And today in my Abnormal Psychology class we were talking about Borderline Personality Disorder and I also feel like that applies to me, only like a milder version of it. I guess I'm not dealing with anything overly distressing, but I have journals starting in 2002 of being depressed, having low self esteem, hating life, but always intermixed with random high points. I feel like its just the course of my life, but I'm afraid that it could develop into something worse.

Thank you in advance.

I would consult a mental health professional and let them diagnose you.

I wish you the best!
