when all of the sudden you find yourself falling for a co-worker?!?! I know almost everyone has, because anyone with a real job spends most of their time there and even spends time outside of their workplace hanging out with co-workers and employee's.

For myself, I spend so much freaking time at my job it's rediculous and I don't get anytime to actually go out and meet anyone new in my free time (hence this website...lol).

I know that I can never have a relationship with this person because of our professional standing, but at the same time, I find it hard to make unbiased decisions when it concerns her...

Anyone have a clue on how to handle this?

There's a wise old saying: Don't get your honey where you get your money.
Maybe she will transfer to another department or something. Too risky for you. Ask yourself would you lose your job for her?

Wish I could help, but I'm in the same boat with liking a co-worker! Mine is just as complicated, its the owners brother. And if you saw my other post he is apparently using me as a bootycall haha... gotta love work

LOl funny how I am in the same situation myself... even though the company i work for will allow us to date I just don't want things to change between him and I. So I say don't say anything because your work relationship is at risk and who needs that kind of drama, also can you be sure that she feels the same for you? if so then ask her out, if things progress then agree to keep it secret.. hope things work out.

that's the trouble with co-workers - hard to tell if you really dig them or if it's just cuz you are around them so damn much. and remember that people are different outside work. for instance, i am always sober at work, but i am generally intoxicated at home. i say you gotta keep em separated (isn't that a song...?)

i would say check if your job has rules on dating your coworkers and if you feel that you wanna talk to the woman go ahead. many people say its wrong to but at the same time we cant judge everyone

Every time a "date my co-worker" thread comes up, ole Knox gives the same advice each time. It's good advice, too, but since I seem to have to repeat it a lot, this time, I'm gonna do it a little differently:

I'm gonna SCREAM IT OUT!

NEVER,EVER, DIP YOUR PEN IN THE COMPANY INK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dating a co-worker is like a politician who thinks.

In both cases, nothing good ever comes out of it.laugh

1. find out if she is interested in you
2. decide how to handle it

2 options are - decide not to pursue it in any fashion
- try to find a way to date

life IS too short
it IS possible for one of you to change jobs
might not be worth it
