I was reluctant to give up my apartment at first but I'm back in with my folks. My Mom had been asking me for months to come back. My Dad requires more care. Anyone else living with their parents? If so, how's that going?

Well, if I wanted to live with my parents I would
have to climb that giant staircase to Heaven/Hell.

Be glad you have them with you still :-)

No. My Dad lives close and I do what I can to spend time with him and help him in any way. He is 75 and does dialysis several times a week. I do it because I care. So as soufie said be glad and cherish the time you have left with them.

My dad passed away years ago.

My mum live 5 hours drive away.
I will move to where she is if she needs me.
I wouldn't mind living with mum now.
If family needs me I'm there.

My hat goes off to you for stepping up to the plate, I too was put in that position with just starting to get over
divorce and then moving in with my mother to care for her. It's going to be frustrating at times but just remem-
ber they are not choosing this, find yourself a outlet.... going for a walk, riding a bicycle something to help work
off tension. The best is get through it one day at a time.

My Dad passed years ago, died alone and it has always bugged me

my mom is very social and loves conversation,, since my daughters father left, we have been an extended family in one home

We are great support for each other and I have my own 'place' technically due to being in the casita. She stays in the main home and it works fine.

You're one lucky men for having your parents still. Mine both are gone I regret not being able to travel more often to spend time with them.

Enjoy them as much as you can.

Yes, I'm fortunate to still have them, and yes, there's drama! My father has some dementia and he stays quite sedentary. Trying to get keep him stimulated and physically active is not easy. I get out as much as I can. My siblings are supportive as well.
