Hello .. my names Thomas I am a hairstylist and I genuinely interested in your thoughts about cougars and cubs.,personally I don't mind it but do find it hard to get messages back .. do woman feel embarrassed or shamed that a younger male finds them attractive?
Or do they have the mind frame that the cub just wants them for sex ? .. I would love to hear your thoughts .. in new to this site .. and would love some feed back |

yes..i might have the wrong perception due to insecurities but you can find more attractive women within your age bracket...

Only options given: ashamed, embarrased, sex I gave another option that was left out. Some aren't into younger. Some might find it unnerving if they have kids around the same age. |

In the first place those that call themselves Cougars actually go after younger guys themselves.. Since it is what they like I would not think they would be embarrassed for what they like..Cougars, you don't seek out they will find you...
Then you have the older women that don't go after younger, it just so happens that sometimes the ones they are attracted too is younger. Since they were not actually seeking younger I'm sure at times they may have second thoughts.. or embarrassed due to what others may say ect... But not all older women, just cause they have dated younger are called Cougars.... That label is for those that only seek younger guys... If I dated those that was 15- + years younger then me, I would take offense more by being labeled a Cougar.... it's just a preference.. But as far as taking offense just cause someone younger finds them attractive it would really be up to each person.. Myself I would not be offended by the fact someone younger then me was attracted to me heck I would be flattered... It is all in the attitude that one approaches a person with...on how they will interpret it. But would not mean I would date them unless I was attracted to them as well.... Then you have those young ones that for some reason just cause a woman is older, they want to go out with them due to what they have been told or heard.... And it is only a sex thing for them... Again I would not be offended if they thought I was attracted.. I would be more offended if they think that I was that lonely and easy to date just cause I was older... |

You have made very interesting and valuable points , personally I don't think woman older are easy quite the opposite .. they have a lot more integrity and the conversations are a lot better and a lot my interesting . Me personally I am attracted to intelligence. But I would never date anyone my own age .. just isn't for me I find it a complete turn off

Many older women find they are attracted to those younger for many different reasons... I was merely pointing out that some of the younger only go out for the sex and the experience... Then you have those that in fact are attracted to older women for many other reasons not a thing wrong with either as long as both parties are honest with each other... |

I personally have no issues with younger men....... yes I do have a cut off age due to the fact that I do have two sons and they have to at LEAST be older them than by a couple of years!!!! I don't actively seek out younger or older men to be honest....... I'm just open to whoever sparks my interest. I've no issue with being called a cougar LOL....... mainly due to I don't give a flying fork what someone thinks of me.
