Yeah, I agree, I think he's a good actor, too - but I have to admit that "Captain Fantastic" is probably my least favorite of his movies. I thought Viggo was great in "A History of Violence." And being a bit of a geek, I liked him in "The Lord of the Rings," of course. What else? Hmmm... oh, yeah, "Hidalgo" was good and in "Eastern Promises" he played the type of gritty character that he does really well. I'm sure there are other movies of his that I enjoyed - but my memory fails me at the moment.

Just curious, what did you not like about it?

He's a good actor. Really loved his role in A History of Violence (which to me is his best role to date).

Oh, I don't know - it's highly possible that I just simply enjoy Viggo in more blatant man-flicks. Lol... I'm shallow that way! Now that you posted the movie list - how could I have forgot "The Road," that was powerful. "Appaloosa" was also good. "American Yakuza" sounds really familiar. I'll have to go through the list for future viewing, in case I missed any.

Yeah, I understand what you mean BrentFL about the "man flicks" thing. Some actors stick to one genera which they're best known for but I like the fact he can mix things up a bit and he's said that he'll only do a movie if it means something to him. I'd like to see his movie "Salvation!" but it's hard to find. I know this kind off subject but my dilemma right has been that I currently don't have a favorite actress, it was Lucy Lawless but she's been low key for years now and she hasn't done major movies that impress me and that's one of the things any actor or actress had to do to me, impress me.
