Don't consider a long distance relationship unless you are prepared to relocate, have the time and funds available to visit each other several times in courtship, and have a time scale in mind if things go well. It is not an easy option for anyone and should be given a lot of thought before entering in to in my opinion. The good side is that you can learn a lot about each other before you both decide if you want to meet up, and they do work out for some, it depends on the two people involved.

. Very true, I agree! The men I met in person all traveled here! I like meeting serious men, my age group, who don't mind taveling!

If you're willing to put in the time and the effort they can work but it's definitely not easy.

Distance doesn't matter at all. I have experienced long distance relationship, it feels like " SO FAR YET SO CLOSE " , as long as you have constant communication and a strong feelings for each other , most of all love and trust. As for having someone near you doesn't give you security and love all the time, you sometimes feel , " SO NEAR AND YET SO FAR" . How can you feel loved and valued when the person close to you can't even give you the time and affection that you need? It is the effort of showing love and making quality time for each other that matters. And showing it doesn't necessarily mean to be physically present. Two people in love can have a stronger bond spiritually, emotionally and mentally better than the physical aspect of a relationship.

Long distance relationship can work, for a while. There is a point where one person is willing to relocate.
