Yesterday was my birthday and was the best birthday I've had in years :D
Got to spend it with him, he came over Friday night, just went home. We really had a wonderful time, went out yesterday afternoon, he finally met my son (that never worked out before because my son works weekends) and it was great!
The oracle cards I'd wanted hadn't gotten in yet, but...
I got flowers, a beautiful typical-me-birthday-card, and a ring

I think the last ring I ever got was my wedding ring yonks ago. My ex never bought me a ring.
It became a deal breaker for me. I simply need a man to buy me a ring at some point during the relationship. I never told him that though, too soon for all that stuff, but he did buy me a ring nonetheless Funny thing is, it wasn't about getting a ring so much as it is about him wanting to give it to me. So not like "please fill that need in me" but sheer joy that he feels so much for me that he wanted to buy me a ring
And yeah, I'm over the moon and back happy with it!
